I was a str hound. Wanted to be super strong at the expense of all other stats. Noticed that I would not keep taunt (smashing the taunt button, its maxed). Looked at my logs, was missing alot. When I did hit, I would do some nice damage, yea!!!! Healer types spent alot of time/manna healing me. I spent a lot of time trying to get the mobs off the fingerwigglers.

Spent some PP on some agi/dex items. Str went down. Noticed that I dont get hit as often and im hitting the mob more often. When I am hit, it dont hurt as much.

From a taunting point of view. If the monk is intent on keeping agro, they will. If your group gives u the oppertunity to get the taunt, with high dex and agi you will be a stronger tank for em. If you cannot HIT your target (dex), then ur not getting the mobs attention. If your AC (agi) is low then your taking alot more damage.

Lots of classes out there can toss str. Not many can toss dex/agi. Ran across a lot of rangers that think there agi buff sucks. Some dont even have the spell (ugggggg). I beg em to toss it on me. The str will be there. The agi/dex you have to bring with you. I have a STR package, AGI/dex package, and resist package depending on the fight and what my role in the group/raid is.

Remember, the tank is NOT the max damage dealer, we are the max damage taker!!!!!! Dex and agi help you with that role.

Silly people, get a high level shammy to try a few buffs on you. When you get Strength cast on you you will hit for numbers you have never imagine you could. Then drop your STR buffs get AGI and DEX buffs, you will need to examine your log files with a calculator in hand to see if there is a difference.

STR raises ATK, STR is the major stat for non-tanking melees.

DEX/AGI, are secondary/minor stats who purposes are few, and remain a mystery to most, but everyone has an opinion about them, just all different. The average melee has no use for these. RNG=Archery is not melee.

I got one of these last night, and while I won't wear it due to AGI/DEX loss I will equip it to right click the effect and then put my normal ring back on. As far as the STR goes, I already have 170 pts (unbuffed), so a Shammy buff would be more than worth the agi/dex loss when wearing this ring. Final conclusion: not a tremendous ring, but doesnt hurt to have it for minor effect gain....

For a warrior with no procing weapons this would kinda be good.

For the guy who said he liked extra Crits and Cripplings well, by the time you get this, an extra Crit or Crippling wouldn't matter. If a level 60 SKs Harmtouch barely moves the HP down on the mob, then I doubt an extra Crit or Crippling would help.

I'm a lvl 53 monk and I would put this on and never take it off. 25 str = harder hits. So you lose 20 agi and dex? boo hoo. Now my IFS won't proc. Oh wait it doesn't have a proc. Boo hoo I can't tank because of the Agi and AC loss. Oh wait I have a lvl 60 Warrior on the raid who is taking all the damage. I have gone on plain raids were I never got mele'd ONCE. Agi and Dex are useless to me. Str would actually do something.

take the hit i think not i keep this in a general inventory slot, you must wear it to right clik it then take it off so u dont take the hit on dex/agi
