I need to know if you can get the warlord's crown customized like the skyshrine helm is done. unfortunally I am allied with giants and KOS to both coldains and Dragons. I need to know if its possible to customized it in Kael. Post a reply or send an email to me, which I would perfer with how to go about doing this Nasaan2001@yahoo.com

Yes you can. There is a Giant behind tormax.. right next to0 the giant who drops orb of infinate void... he is the one.. the thing is you can't be kos to tormax faction cause they right next to him

I herd that you must be lvl 45 or higher to do these quests if they are multiquested, is this true? or is the lvl limit higher? or no limit at all?... i know im gonna get flamed for this hehe

Are ALL the components NO DROP? 3 crushed coral and an ancient tarnished plate helm(plz can i get a bit o help on these items?) Also, what kind of faction do you have to have with the coldain to get it? (as of right now, I'm only apprehensive).

No, from what I know only the actual armor pieces which you need to turn in are No Drop. The gems and such are either magic... or simply mundane, stack-able stones.
On Tallon Zek there's a Troll Warrior with this Helm, and when I inspected him, it showed it was Custom Warlord Crown. Anyway, it was one of the sweetest tings I've ever seen (DEFINATELY want 1) it looks like a helm of a rugby/american footbal player

check out the members site, especial the warriors.
I think the look is the same at all races.
All I can say is .... WOW a Alien Lizard.
Warlords Crown ...costumized have the same look like the Helm of the Statue of Rallos Zek.
However it is a great look and I think it is the same look on Thur and Skysh armor too.
Example:
Champions Armor same look like Warlords Armor only different color.
To get it I think it is the same way like the thur armor only with the person who give out the Kael Armor quest.

I am soon to become of the LVL to get these armors and i was wondering.... how do you get it customized..could anyone please post how to get the helm customized....and one other thing, does anyone know what it looks like on a half elf?

Im an iksar warrior not even near to having this i dont care how much crap i have to take i just got to see the customized version of this on my head. hehe i can just think of the look on an iksar. Probly looks a litle like the bird helm but whit better graph and a more killer look. now if somebody could post how exactly you get the customysed insted of the normal crown id be in heaven.

Where is the ancient plate armor found... There are some postings i have seen for level 60+ mobs that drop it... If this is the case why is it a 50 quest then...

I have the helmet and had it customized for ogre. Yes...I look goofy as **** but it's good for laughs. Sometimes the helmet obstructs my 1st person view. That's annoying as crap and a pretty ****** downside of the helm considering it's supposed to be top notch warrior armor. I know that the troll helmet has this unfortunate bug too.

methinks this problem was fixed a bit ago. No worries, however, I dont have the helm to tell you for sure, am looking forward to doing the quest AS SOON AS I AM ABLE! woohoo I saw it yesterday on one of my kin(Ogre) and its the only item I've found that will cover me ugly mug!

You said this looks great, but I had the thought you might be thinking of "Custom Warlords Helm/Crown"... Which, if a Crown, I'm pretty sure is not the standard, the pic shows the standard. Froom what I've seen IN eq, the "Custom" head pieces, which I've only seen 2 of - which were both Custom Warlord's soemthing ON warriors -, have VERY unique looks, and... well... just look kinda crazy, stupid on some races and awsome on others...

I beg to differ that this rivals frostreavers... Frostreavers is the same ac, 20sv magic! and 5sv the rest... This is a simple bit of stats, not much hp and 4sv disease... Not even the most necessary stat not to mention it only being 4 in only 1 save. Frostreavers is also all/all 1.0 stone, making it the ideal uber head item for monks, and awsome/the best for most other classes. If I was a caster capable of attending a slaying of the dain, by now I would have 200int and could easily raise it much higher. Now that 30ac is a pretty damn nice thing to replace almost all other head pieces except enchanter velious quest and the few head items equivelent to Crown of Rile/cap of the insubstantial. As a closing, if both this and the frostreavers could be sold, the frostreavers would be selling for twice as much IMO.

The helm is a great piece. But not cream in your jeans nice. But what is awesome is the look especially on DE IMOP. Ogres look like Tiki Gods
which cracks me up. Barbs Look kinda whacked.

I would suggest looking at the effects on cobalt:
infravision - only needed if you dont have
lesser shielding - doesnt stack with kragg/focus
shrink - invaluable!
reckless strength - useless
invisibility - invaluable!
kunzar strength - worse than druid/shm strength
invigorate - same as warlords bp effect.
You actually dont use the cobalt effects hardly at all by the time you can get Warlords in actuality. Really the two don't compare, and with how difficult Warlord's is to get you just wouldn't turn down any pieces. :)

don't get me wrong the stats on the kael warrior armor is freaking amazing....orgasmic even. but the only problem i have is that Cobalt seems cooler to me because of the triggered effects. i am sure other warriors know how cool it feels when you cast a spell. i'm not crazy though if i hypothetically had the option of choosing between the two i'd take the Kael Armor. The Cobalt is probably easier to obtain, and its pretty damn hard to get.
