forage Cockatrice Eggs in The Overthere

Foraging Cockatrice Egg as a ranger:
The Overthere (RoS), 1 in 7 -- best rate for the egg
The Overthere (Kunark), 1 in 9, also forage Cursed Clover of Viesar
Trakanon's Teeth (Kunark), 1 in 20, also forage Emerald Orange

Cockatrice Eggs can also drop from cockatrices in Kunark (The Overthere, The Dreadlands, Trakanon's Teeth), but the drop rate is an abysmal 1% from all of them.

Setting up a PC with Forage is the better way to go here. Hunting just does not compare to it.

This still holds true. Killed everything on track in The Overthere and not a single drop. Seems to be a fairly common forage with skill 265

A new recipe was recently added that uses these: Straha's Kunark Fried Cockatrice. Alas, they are still quite rare. Magelo's suggests a drop rate of at best 1% in most places, maybe as high as 1.5 or 2% from petrifiers in Dreadlands or Trak's Teeth.

I killed 46 assorted cockatrices, mostly in The Overthere, with zero drops. Then I parked a foragers (skill 200) at the Skyfire zone line and got 4 eggs out of 51 foraged items.

This is not found in Dreadlands. I have killed many 'A Stonegazer Cockatrice' and unless its ultra rare it doesn't drop on these things.

Also yes, these are used in baking or brewing, you make Cockatrice Egg Oil from brewing (egg and water in a brew barrel, trival at 141) also for baking its used to make 5 'clump of dough' by combining 1 bottle of milk, cockatrice egg, cup of flour.
