Just curious, does low charisma help fearing/intimidation?

Cha does not effect Fear. Never has. Verant confirmed this at the Dallas (I think) Fan Fair.

why are enchanters getting the bone on this gear its not like there are any other great options that drop off mobs

a whopping -4 charisma is really gonna hurt an echanter? Don't they already have charisma buffs by the time they reach level 50? And not like you can't de-equip them when you go shopping for that Jewel Crafting thing you might do. Stop whining about something that doesn't even effect the classes overall ability to perform. You can still charm just as long, you can still buy stuff cheap, and you've got some groovy stats added to your glove slot including 10sv fire.

oh and btw you can get some way better equip than those (plans ... iksar skin gloves ... impsking ... even insidious are better for chanter and insidious are WAY easyer to get on)
