Plat Jasper ring is +6 wis and who in their right mind would sacrifice 4 str for 3 sta???

Sure Jasper makes a 6 wis ring.. and that is a great item... but this ring serves a purpose and has its place. For somone who needs only 10 more wis to reach 200 this is a perfect item, even for shamans and clerics. So what? you loose 4 str.. well i would rather, as a high level cleric have 6 extra stamina than str.. especailly when the mobs start going at me cause i am Healing thier damage,,
Please think about something in more than numbers.. WTG Verant i think this is a great item, especially when you look outside the box.

yes, this would be the perfect ring for those all those karana worshipping shaman out there(!?).
just taking a lvl 50 druid for instance. not that the str matters though most the druids i find in dungeons are always encumbered because they'll be able to port and sell so they fill 8 bags. but that 6 sta amounts to 15 hps, coughworthlesscough. the number edges closer to 20 in the case of clerics. a situation that you're encumbered and the lowered agi and thus the lowered ac which ends up costing 20 hps would be far more common than a cleric dropping below 20 hps and somehow surviving.
kudos to verant for the attempt, but alas they were looking off into space instead of outside or inside the box.

The reason that some of the imbued jewelry isn't so good, is because the people at Verant are trying to get people to play the religions which are not played as often. This means everything but the elf and druid type religions....so the Karana and Tunare jewelry won't be as good as some of the jewelry for the less common religions. Look at the Quellious jewelry, the Rallos Zek jewelry, the Mitahniel Marr jewelry, or even the Solusek Ro jewelry (though that has a negative Strength as well). They are not strictly better than their nonreligious counterparts, but they are definitely worth using for some characters.

I think Mithril Marr is diamonds isnt it.. whereas tunare is emeralds.. bit of a difference there.

Good point BUT to get the 6 sta you lose 8 str... yes it is nice to be able to get the extra hit points but I think a HP Mana ring would be a much better way to do it... without losing the str... but since I do not follow karana this is a choice I do not have an option of doing... overall most of the Imbued gem jewelery suck ...
