all corroded armor (including the BP) drops in Keal around the arean, youll need a good group(s) for this.
The Scoop on Quest Armors
# Aug 07 2001 at 1:44 AM Rating: Excellent
Actually, this armor isnt quite silver. Its silverish like fine steel armor but it has decorations on it as well with a bluish sort of tint to it. Make sure to have your Velious armors turned on in your eqclient.ini file. This is the new Champion armor graphic anyways.

Berserker (dropped armor)- Vary decorative golden color with assorted gems
Champions - Silver w/blue tint and decorations
Myrmidons - Sleek Dark Brown color (like hide)
Warlord - A darker version of Royal Velium Armor

Berzerker drops off of different creatures in Plane of Growth and can be attained by 2 groups minimum(level 46+). Champions quest pieces drops off of the "hallway" giants in the arena in Kael Drakkel (level 46+)(not in the house) and can be attained by one good group. Skyshrine armor dropsin the testing halls in Temple of Veeshan and requires the group to be non KOS to Claws of Veeshan faction with a minimum of 18 people and Ally to do the quest (level 57+). Warlord armor drops off of the non testing halls (everywhere else) in Temple of Veeshan and requires a minimum of 18 people (level 57+) as well as Ally to Kromrif/Kromzek/Tormax to do the quest.

All quest gems can be found in different zones but hands down, Siren's Grotto is the best drop rate. A quest gem will drop around 80% of the time.

The Kael and Skyshrine armor quests require Ally faction. The Thurgadin armor quests require Kindly.

Please get in the habit of hailing and talking to your quest npcs. If you are given the quest then your faction is high enough and you can turn in your items.

RE: anyone know the color ?
# Jun 18 2001 at 8:00 AM Rating: Default
Thurg plate armor all got the same look regardless of class. (e.g. a Human Warrior in full Champions got the same look as a Human ShK in Dark Runed)

Warrior Thrug = Silver
Warrior SS = Brown
Warrior Kael = Blue

Ogre Warrior?
# Mar 12 2001 at 4:41 PM Rating: Default
Can an Ogre Warrior do this quest without first increasing or changing faction with the NPC who gives it out?
RE: Ogre Warrior?
# Jun 11 2001 at 12:52 PM Rating: Excellent
As far as I know, EVERYONE starts out dubious to the coldain dorfs. As you are required to be of ally status to do these quests, EVERYONE has to kill giants to increase their faction. The good thing is that this isn't hard. If you are doing Kael Drakkel raids to get the peieces for this armor, anyways, I would be very very very suprised if you where not of ally status by the time you actually got the stuff you needed to do this quest. Unless you have spent a lot of time killing Coldain dorfs, or something like that.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 31 2001 at 4:49 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Sorry Reeg, yer close though, Everyone starts out apprehensive to dorfs, threatningly to dragons and giants.
RE: Ogre Warrior?
# Mar 11 2002 at 11:15 AM Rating: Default
Actually, if you worship Rallos Zek, you start out kos to Tormax, but Dubious to Kromrif and either Dubious or Apprehensively to Kromzek (I hunted 1 night in SS before cheking my faction with the giants, so not totally sure)
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 18 2001 at 8:03 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) u need to be ally for Kael and SS armor.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 31 2001 at 4:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Actually anon the gay ***, yer wrong, reegor did say that faction would have to be raised you stupid tard.

Well, that was completely beside the point. He dosn't start out KoS. Why must every little anon kid flame whenever they see a slightly incorrect post. Grow up or don't use anon.
RE: Ogre Warrior?
# Sep 18 2001 at 10:45 AM Rating: Good
Actually, you are all wrong, every race starts out apprehensive EXCEPT dwarves (haha). I found this out at my first trip to Thurgadin right after I got the expansion pack. I didn't kill ANYTHING before i went there. Ported right into Iceclad and ran to Thurg. And I was indifferent! Woot! I was really happy, cause that means less work for me to get kindly faction to do this quest. I must admit, I am not sure about evil classes, I know evil races, (Iksar, DE, Troll, Ogre) are apprehensive, but evil classes may be KOS, i am not sure. There are some other cities like that, I think, such as Kaladim, which i beleive a Agnostic evil race could enter, unless they were necro or SK (or cleric, obviously, cause they would have to worship Cazic or Innoruk)
Anyway, every race but dorfs is apprehensive in Thurg. We, because we are their relatives, are indiff, which only makes sense.

Actually a Gnome Warrior starts Indefrent to Thurg Dwarfs also
Just FYI
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 01 2001 at 6:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Percia, if you knew anything you'd withdraw your comment. Just cause jboots have an instant casting time you think everything does, alot of high level items with damage effects and healing effects have a casting time on them. In this case people say its 12 seconds and with no channeling skill for warriors, one hit, and the cast is interupted
Flawless Diamonds

Can anyone tell me where the Flawless Diamonds that are required for this quest drop.
RE: Flawless Diamonds
# Mar 11 2001 at 10:01 PM Rating: Default
I heard they dropped in SG, I can't remember at the moment, but I think it stands for Sirens something. Pretty hard things in there to kill. But I also think you can buy flawless diamonds. Might make it a little easier.

Invigorate Effect
# Feb 28 2001 at 11:27 AM Rating: Default
The Invigorate Effect is right clickable, comleatly restores all lost stamana, heals 100hp, looks like a blue heal spell, and has a 12!! seckond casting time! Heh well at least it beats bandages! LOL! Happy hunting

Hey can somebody tell me why all new warrior only breastplates have invigorate on them?
RE: Invigorate Effect
# Mar 07 2001 at 6:28 PM Rating: Default
Because in long battles, invigorate is a warriors best friend. When your yellow bar drops to nothing you are slower and weaker, invigorate means you will always be at top form.
RE: Invigorate Effect
# Mar 11 2001 at 8:16 PM Rating: Default

RE: Invigorate Effect

Invigor - Restores all stamina
Invigorate - Heals 100HPs

There is a huge difference. Read the names before making an assumption. Invigorate is NOT the same as Invigor. Just thought I would set everyone straight.
RE: Invigorate Effect
# May 25 2001 at 8:05 PM Rating: Default
actually i believe Invigorate ALSO restores sta, HOWEVER im quite sure that running outta sta dosent make you slower or weaker if you have over 100 stamina
RE: Invigorate Effect
# May 26 2001 at 2:46 PM Rating: Default
actually it does as you approach 50% of your last bubble of stamina you will take a 20 to 50 point ac hit and 20 to 30 point attack hit, and that makes it a very bad thing as far as I'm concered.

RE: Invigorate Effect
# May 04 2002 at 8:06 AM Rating: Decent
not if your sta is over 100, i've watched my bar and stats before to see for myself.....

Can an Ogre Warrior do this quest without first improving faction with the NPC who gives it out?
RE: Iksar = Verant's Red Head Stepchildren
# Mar 08 2001 at 6:43 PM Rating: Default
You did jump at the chance to have permanent regen, higher natural resists and ac, not to mention foraging, infravision, and mastery of swimming. Did you not think that all those benefits would have some drawback other than Faction? I feel no pain for those who made iksar characters and now feel screwed. You made your choice, either restart a new character or live with it. I hate the fact that my barbarian cant see a tree infront of her face at night but did I ***** about being screwed because only 2 other races cant see at night. Hell no!

Im sorry but get a clue, I sure you knew as I did that Iksars couldnt wear plate based armor when I started playing and Iksar warrior. Why do all the Iksars start crying when they see that they cant wear a plate item. If you would look around and do something like hunt you might find other stuff that allows you to have fairly good AC. I currently have 1059AC unbuffed. buffed with cleric spells this goes to 1112.

#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 03 2001 at 2:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Every single time there is a nice item in the game that is found, and it's not all-all, at least one moron has to say that his class is the red-headed stepchild, or, my favorite, "this is a slap in the face to blah blah yadda". By this point, every possible combination of class and race is loathed and dispised and hated more then all others by VI.

This is true... I met an Iksar SK with 967 AC at level 46, because he had full RFV. Meanwhile, I'm at 51 with 889 AC... and this is with Indo Gaunts and Boots, Cobalt Bracer, and Incarnadine Helm. Iksar's have nothing to complain about, from what I can see. ;)

This BP is incredible! One of the best velious armor pieces in the game! very cool indeed. By the way invigorate is a spell that regains your stamina making it an incredible attribute in a group!
RE: Awesome!
# Feb 28 2001 at 12:36 AM Rating: Decent
ok, here we go again....its not a stam regen, thats Invigor....."Invigorate" is a heal, around 100 points i believe.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 28 2001 at 8:16 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) try to cast it in combat with no channeling ... nice bp anyway :)
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 28 2001 at 5:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) you dont need chaneling to cast off items... look at j boots
RE: Awesome!
# Oct 25 2001 at 7:30 AM Rating: Decent
Wrong exemple.
Jboots is 0 casting time (so can't be interupted). You can be interupted when drinking a gate potion, an abolish poison potion, using incarnadine BP, post-nerfed criclet of shadow etc... but NOT an cloudy potion (invis: 0 casting time), casting see inviz with a bracer of the hidden, using a prenerfed circlet of shadow etc..
Invigorate being a healing spell, I suppose it's not 0 casting time LOL. So you can be interrupted csting it.

Note that you can't cast while stuned (no jboots when stuned, no inviz even no LoH/HT for pally/SK)
