What does it look like?

Does this armor have a leather-based look, or is it chain-based? What color is it? I haven't seen screenshots of it yet, and my guild has been preoccupied with PoG, so I haven't seen it.

I know that fashhion takes a backseat to AC, but I'd hate to go back to that Dwarven newbie look... that'd kinda be like wearing diapers at the very beginning of life, then again at the very end. LOL!

Thanks in advance.

I'd have to say considering it goes in the Shoulder slot it doesn't look like anything. Your shoulders aren't visible on your character, it could change with Luclin, but as of right now, it won't show up

My dwarf rogue has a pair of matchless arms and they are black and dark green(kind of a teal(?) color) with the black and green zig-zaging around the arm and a band of green in the middle of the arm with like little jewels going around the band. (thats the best i can describe it from memory.. i play in first-person view mode mostly so i dont look at it much) it looks cool i think.

At a guess the visible pieces look like the Ry'Gorr does...but its very possible it has its own unique look, and it will of course look different on everybody.
Matchless Dragonhide Armor

Matchless Dragonhide Armor drops randomly from all the various dragons that inhabit the Western Wastes. These dragons all drop worked, reinforced, heavy, peerless, and matchless armor. Matchless is the best of those. Depending on the level of the dragon, it will drop more often than the others. A full suit of matchless armor gives the following stat bonuses.

155 hp/mana
220 AC
34 STR
24 STA
23 AGI
20 DEX
42 WIS
19 INT
35 CHA
14 mag
27 fir
7 cld
16 pois
15 dis

The set is great for a wisdom based hybrid, moreso for the ranger because it gives more AC than Tolan's, only a bit more than Runed Scout's, but much better stats. Basically this armor rocks for any melee class. And with a Talisman from any of the more powerful dragons, there's 6-7 more to each stat, and 30-40 hp/mana, depending on which dragon. Well... Hope this helps.

Depending on the dragon, as many as 2-3 pieces may drop in one kill. Most of these dragons are above 60. Matchless does not, in my experience, drop from any of the <63 dragons. The chance of obtaining a full suit of Matchless is so very slim.=( But if you achieve it, tell us about it!:)

The information above is far from the truth. To set the record straight, each dragon drops a certain type of armor. For example: Bratavar, Karkona, and Nintal all may drop the mantle. In addition, these three dragons are level 53 (Bratavar) to level 58 (Karkona). The only armor piece they can drop is the mantle. It does not always drop, and when it does, only 1 drops at a time. When a mantle does drop, it could be anything from a Worked Dragonwing Mantle to a Matchless Dragonwing Mantle.
