save any ivory you find
# Sep 07 2001 at 10:42 AM Rating: Decent
Save them, once you got imbue ivory, do it.

Give em to enchanter and make yourself a whole set of ivory jewelry, beautiful stats.

(However, Im a stat maniac, I'd rather had all my stats spread across and a decent ac, rather than wis alone. So I am recommending one forest loop and one ivory earring. YES, dex and agi help caster.)

so, any ol person can make these? as long as they have a follower of the tribunal imbue the ivory for it? is that not wrong? shouldn't only tribunal followers be able to make this stuff? I am a lvl 27 shaman, and a follower of the tribunal, and know that i can only make imbued armor for followers of the tribunal. this is the same for the imbued weapons that i make. i can not make stuff for followers of another diety. why would a highelf enchanter be able to make me an imbued earring that is for my own diety?

Explinations greatly appreciated...

I had my shaman imbue the ivory then passed it on to my erudite enchanter to make the earring if that helps just need the right person to cast the spell to imbue the item.Smiley: yippee

Actually Northmans armor is only barbarin made and can also be made with JADE wich is a differnt group of people (forget the diety offhand) and the perosn who makes the imbuned ivory Northmans armor doenst have to be tribunal either just a barbarin (an agnostic barb coudl make it or on diety PVP a follower of marr could make imbuned northamans dunno why they would though <G>

Who can make?
# Apr 05 2002 at 1:37 AM Rating: Excellent
Not only is the wearer diety specific, but the shaman to imbut the ivory must be of the Tribunal as well to even imbue it.

Once imbued, any jeweler can make the item, give to anyone they want, but only someone of Tribunal can wear them.
RE: curious

The religious restriction is upon the wearer of the item, not the creator. For instance, a Tier'dal Wizard of Solusek Ro can make the Imbued Enchanted Tier'dal Armor (Innoruuk) provided he can get the imbued sapphires and enchanted adamantium.
Easy spot for Ivory
# Jul 17 2001 at 7:18 AM Rating: Decent
I've found a great spot for ivory and can normally get them about 1 or 2 per hour. Go to the gorge of king xorbb(between EK and runnyeye) and kill the EE lords. They range in level from 19-22 also lord spotyvr is a very rare spawn and is around level 30. Even if it's camped ask for the ivory as most of the people just sell to vendors. Goodluck!

For those of us who are not Ice Giant level yet - I killed Cynthia in Lake Rathe starting at level 33 solo (earlier in groups) and she drops a lot of ivory. Once you get your pet at level 34 she drops so fast because the pet keeps interrupting her that its sad. Good exp up to level 39, although I have heard people camping her through 40.

Commonly sold for 250p each.

Umm gold costs 10p not 50p for one, and ivory can usually be found on merchants if you are dilligent enough in your search the spell is lvl 29 (costs alot to cast but highly worth it). As for wether its better than a forest loop, the forest loop can be used by anyone, this can be only used by a few barbarian shaman for the most part. Is it a good earring yup, is it worth any where from 1k-2k only if the buyer is on some heave duty crack or has zero friends. And for that matter even with no friends you could still get the material yourself pay some one to cast the imbue spell (if you need it, odds are if you are a barb shaman the class that is gonna use this you aren't), give the ivory to a trust worthy enchanter pay him to craft it with enchanted gold. Given the worse possible situation it would cost you maybe 90 p an earring, and that is assuming you are totally non-sociable and but *** ugly (low cha). Bit advice before you start gracing us with your "knowelege" have the decency to at least check the facts.
The Item

The item is Tribunal Only
Barb War, Barb Shm, Barb Rog, Half-Elf and Human Bard
Made by Enchanters(any religion) the Ivory has to be imbued by a Tribunal Shaman of lvl 34+.
Recipe can be found here:

Its a great great Shaman item - I love it!
Not Tribunal only
# Jun 22 2001 at 8:41 AM Rating: Decent
Why do you say it is Tribunal Only -- all classes and all races can wear it, according to the pic.

It takes a Tribunal Shaman to imbue the ivory and an enchanter to enchant the gold bar, but once crafted, the "item" is useable by all.

Am I missing something, Lodin?

Ok, u MUST be a follower of the tribunal, this is a deity specific armor piece. the pic says "The Tribunal". All classes and all races that follow the tribunal may wear this piece.

Hmm..... on the top line under the name of the item it says- MAGIC ITEM The Tribunal
this means it can only be used by worshippers of the tribunal; please find out why people think it's one way before deciding to open your stupid mouth.

Kewl thanx for the info, Lodin. I was scared that I might have to spend loads of plat in getting a totally worthless jewelry skill to make these myself. But I can imbue the ivory, and my chanter friend with skill 199 can attempt to make these gorgeous beauties =0)

The orcs in Chrystal Caverns ..... in about 20 hours total time spent there we got 5 black pearls, 8 ivories, tons of topaz and amber, 12 jades, tons of pearls ..... heck ..... the list goes on and on and one ... !

I haven't seen any ivory at jewelry vendors.

However, I looted 12 ivories in total off various mobs. Most were found in Crystal Caverns on the orcs there.

There is a specific deity here, it's the Tribunal, the "god" of the Barbarian community. Although some Barbarians might choose different gods. Shamen always serve the Tribunal, therefore this is an upgrade made with Barbarian Shamen like me in mind. Very nice upgrade too! Me likes!

Btw, this is also cheap to manufacture, maybe 50pp including ivory? Probably less. Hehe, I'm getting two made tonight. Also getting a plat ivory necklace made (5 ac 5 wis 9 sv. cold).

/auct WTS two Forest Loops and a Chrysoberyl Talisman, cheap!

Race/Deity?
# Feb 24 2001 at 1:48 PM Rating: Default
Are these race/deity specific useable? im a dwarf and i know that brells gem is ruby but the component as the name suggests is ivory which is the "gem" for some other deity... also if there is a race/deity req. to wear is there also one to make? i.e. can any race/deity jeweler make them?
Barb Only
# Mar 19 2001 at 11:42 AM Rating: Decent
Any jeweler can make this. As long as you have a lvl 34 Barbarian Shaman imbue the ivory, and an Enchanter echant the metal, anyone can make it.

BUT! only Barbarians can equip it, sorry Dwarf...

RE: Race/Deity?
# Feb 24 2001 at 8:04 PM Rating: Default
It's Tribunal followers only that means Barbarian only as they are the only race to choose Tribunal (dunno Bards perhaps too) and to make them, well, youll need an at least lvl 29 Barbarian Shaman to imbue the ivory and an jeweler dunno if you need a chanter too.
RE: Race/Deity?
# Mar 20 2001 at 9:55 AM Rating: Default
They are tribunal only. need enchated gold and embued ivory to make. The earrings dont do druids any good, because of the diety.
