The focused ethereal and velium weapons are basically the SoV equivalent of fine steel weapons in the original continents. These weapons are common drops off common mobs in the velious zones. They sell to vendors for a decent amount of cash, thats what they are there for. So why do people insist on ******** that they aren't the best weapon in the game? This stuff is common as dirt and is only in game as a means of generating cash for the people that spend their time in these zones.
Thank you....sheesh...that whining was annoying. I don't remember VI announcing that every new weapon found was going to be "plane" like. This is a new continent, yes, but it's low level MOBs are going to have low level items as well.

don't dis something cause you wouldn't use it. think about the newbies who'd love to buy this from you. i'd want one if i was level 5.

Remember, back in the day... when newbies were newbies, and not twinks? Back when people didn't know about magic weapons and hitting wisps? Back when Fine Steel was an awesome upgrade to your self-sharpened Tarnished ******* Sword? Ahhh, those were the days... :)
Now-a-days, though, newbie warriors run to their guild master, turn in their guild note, and receive a full set of Crafted armor and a pair of Ykeshas. Yeah, I'm exagerating... but not by much. In truth, they don't get that Crafted and those Yaks out of the bank until they're level 5. ;)

Just because you wouldn't use it you twink....dosen't mean a newbie rogue or ranger wouldn't just love to have this weapon......Hey, we all can't start out with Serrated bone dirks or Slime coated harpoons like you, you Twink A$$.
