i think honestly that these are some of the best boots attainable outside of ToV+ encounters for a ranger. I mean honestly hear, playing a ranger for 59 levels has showed me that its not a myth, rangers die more then a few times :P so the ac plus sta and HPs is crucial, ive come to believe that stamina is the most important stat on my ranger. my 2 cp
for monks...eh good ac of course and the hp wouldn't be bad but 2.5 stone weight... my monk has it to spare but he's alrdy over 1k unbuffed acand chillen @ 51... how u can't have over 1k is beyond my I have random peices I picked up for him.nice ac and stats, monks are dmg dealers 50+, while the ac on these is good the weight could cripple u too, str is good for dealin dmg(if u have no shaman back there maxing that out anyways)It would take some debate on whether I would where these with my monk..also depends on what role you are playing as well. my 2cp
Ummmmm these are sort of IDEAL for monks. 50 + if you want a damage dealer, you get a rogue. monks do formidable damage, but its not their main purpose. their MAIN purpose is pulling, and you wont make that good of a puller if you croak when splitting up mobs. HPS = VITAL AC = nice. combining the two most important stats, throwin a lil str in for flavor sounds like an awesome deal to me. 2.5 stones??? haha thats still light bro, all your other equip should be 0 0 or 0 1 so it doesnt make much diff.
I just won a pair last night for my 50 SK in a GM event in DL. Killed 3 mini-giants and the last one dropped these. On an Ogre, there is no graphic, so I am running around barefoot.

I would absolutly agree with Rimbuk. I just got these last night. They are outstanding. The AC is great and the extra 36 or so HP I get is minimal, but at 54 I am very very close now to the 1k AC (995). So all in all a great upgrade from Iksar Hide Boots. Just to list out the ones that I feel are in the top 5 here they are...
Grey Suede Boots - Veeshan's Peek - Great stats and some say 40% haste Frozen Efreeti Boots - V. Lab - Lower AC but outstanding stats Iksar Hide Boots - Sebilis - Good AC and stats Golden Star Slippers - Kael Quest - OK stats and Good AC Barbed Dragonscale Boots - Kael Quest - Great AC
These aren't in any real order, but I think the only boots I would upgrade these from is the first 2.
Just curious but how do you only get 36hp from these? I know that if I were to equip them Id easily get over 60 and you got like 10lvls on me... do monks just get screwed that bad for HP or was it a typo? Just curious, not a flame hehe.
For those who think these are too heavy for monks: The raw ac makes up for the weight difference between these and, lets say, shiverback boots.
Being 2wt over the limit is about 14-16ac (over 50). These booties have 13 more RAW AC than shiverback. Adjusted AC, shiver gives you about 9ac and 9agi. These bad boys give you somewhere around 30ac... and they give stamina/30hps.
Even if you couldn't fit them in under the weight limit, these boots are still worth it. Now, with the extra weight capacity, they are even MORE desirable for monks!
