Yes I am just now beginning the Resonant Quests in Velious. I am hardly waiting to salivate over this armor. The bp and the greaves just rock for AC and the addl str stats really make up for giving up the +10 Str on the Ry Gorr Battle Mail.
The only thing that could ***** this armor up is if they made the graphic a combination color of the imbued yick yellow and singing steel gross green armor. THAT would be petionable! LOL
I will let ya know soon as get a piece as to how it looks!!

There was a bard ******** about some items for bards (now, don't get me wrong...never played a bard and I won't. I can't twist with my crappy connection) over on the new lute info screen. He really needs to look at this. My Pally would KILL TUNARE for this....well maybe not, but damn it's nice :)

why would you kill tunare for these? dw greaves are far superior and VS is a lot easier than tunare....not to mention any paladin willing to kill tunare should reconsider his class choice.

Wow, 3.5 years ago...but I had to respond, and break every rule I have for posting in a forum. But c'est la vie.
Gladius, you're right. I don't know why I didn't notice that DW was so much better.
However, my Paladin was not a Paladin of Tunare. He worshipped Mith Marr. And frankly, if there's one thing I regret never doing in my EQ career...it's never having killed Tunare. I hated her, so much. :)

Hey Im sorry,
I would go as far as sawing off my right foot for these greaves. I mean Holy lkjf! Any un-insane paladin would definitly question his faith for a set of these. Im a Bard of the 42nd season, and these are some nice pants man. And to whoever was complaining about the
Bards not getting any items, you've got to check your references man. Bard gear is excellent for our class. Maybe a warrior would have no point for a sta+3 Cha+13 mask but to a bard that kills! I mean what other classes get an item that gives them +13 to their primary stat at 19th level! Well Im definitly awaiting the aquirement of these greaves.

Yeah, a lot of our equipment is good...
However, on some of the quest stuff and Velious armors they accidentally put in Chain AC again. Looks like they got the Greaves right though.
