I saw one of these and it looked like the person had wings on the side of their head it was pretty
ugly a helm with a okay graphic is probably banded helm.

I bought one of these for a level 15 Halfling Paladin and swapped out of a lumberjack's cap. Argh! No wonder why it drops your CHA so low! I'll never be able to pick up chicks with this thing on. That's why I keep the LJ cap for strolling around through a walk in the park (or Gfay...)

It makes my female troll look like Scorpius from Farscape...really hideous and right in line with the negative charisma.

im probably going to upgrade all my armor to crustacean as a hef paladin but after that i dont know what im gonna wear, any suggestions?

I think there might be some kind of bug with helm graphics. I've noticed at times I log in and I can't see anyone's helm's, myself included. If I pop mine off, then back on, I can then see it. Tried this with a friend too, and after taking it off and putting it back on, I can see theirs as well. Weird glitch I think.

I've noticed this too, though only on myself personally. I can see everyone elses helm graphics, but I appear bald. Then taking my helm on and then off, makes it reappear... Quite odd..

i now have a lambent helm but when i had this item my stats were good but i had a gay look witn no grapghics,as epxensive as it is it should have grpaghics
I recently aquired this helm, currently Wearing a Skull Shaped BarbuteLORE ITEM MAGIC ITEM
AC: +13 Magic Resist: +10 HP: +35. As a 30 warrior, what would be better to wear that or this Personally, I really like the +10sta, I'll lose 1 ac for that, but the +10 MR is something I'm reluctant to give up.

You know what.. I was thinking the same damn thing! Although I use Crest Helm now witch does have a cool graphic and it better suits my stats!

Ok its not a bad helm for twinks but damnit why cant verant put a damn graphix look to it.
I hate when it just says creatures, can anyone confirm exactly what mob/mobs drop it.

All crustacean armor is dropped off the ottermen warriors and shaman in cobalt scar. I don't recall any ever dropping off the pups or the shell collectors.

Look of cruts armor is dark braun with velious looking armor, it fits well a dwarf like me =) i got the whole suit

it looks like dark red plate when worn. velious style plate skin with red tint. darker red than rubicite.

Which race are you? Thus far we haven't gotten the helm to show up on a female erudite paladin, male barbarian warrior, and female barbarian warrior.
But, all the other armor pieces show up as mentioned above.

This shows on my Barb Warrior...Graphics are plate style with burnt red tint

Actually, to my knowledge, I have yet to see one velious helm graphic that shows up(save that male barb ulthork one). I've been told that verant just hasn't added in any helm graphics with velious yet.

Try sentient armor (SK only) from wakening, had full look including helm on a DE Female :)
