Scars of VeliousDropped for us of Velktor's Experement.
Very hard mob, he rampages and enrages. We had a solid group, 60 warrior/60 bard/60 cleric/58 shaman/60 wizard/60 Chanter.
Been farming this area for the past few days... so far I've found a second cleric can be pretty helpful. Went today with 2 clerics, wizard, bard, warrior and shaman. Long fight due to no offense, but he dropped.
Bards can mez the crystaline golems. Desroyers and named not. I pulled the mobs (bard). Used lull song and mezzed any adds.

Yes it does exisit! It drop'd today.. Lost roll on it too! =/
We were in velks today and saw a red mob named Velketors Experiment... Everybody in my group had never seen that mob before.. and wondered what it was.. So we made a pits group and made our way to the castle.. pop in from the water pond and made our way in..our lvl 60 bard pulled him.
Red to me at lvl 55 probably around lvl 57+.. very nasty mob but 1 group was able to take him down. He looks like a crystal sentiental/destroyer just bigger.

I was wondering if this is dropped by a specific mob, or can any Kobold in Velk's drop it? If it's not off a specific mob has anyone seen it drop, and at which camp?

Verant made IGS 20ac 10 to all resists but they weigh 19 stones and are monk usable. Then a few months later they make a nice comparable shoulder item put next to 0 weight on it and say "lets **** some monks off" and NOT make it monk usable.

personally i have never seen them drop and i've camped LK and UK many times. i suspect they drop off a named golem, or possibly just a rare drop inside the castle. the castle is very hard and you really need at least 2 50+ or 1 55+ good group to feel any sense of security. its rarely camped, so your not going to see nearly as many of these around as the bp, which drops off a kobold in UK, Tpos. UK is the easiest kobold camp as well.
