i have been camping the room with •Eldriaks Fe`Dhar in it for 8 days stright now, between 8 to 16 hours a day, and have not gotten this to drop yet,. anyone know if it still drops?>

it shows you guys aren't wizards, I got one of these the other day with my 53 wiz and I'm stoked to get it.
I regularly close on a mob that I've snared once it is so sore it doesn't want to come near me and beat it on the back so i don't have to waste mana... I have _all_ my melee skills maxxed too at 110 (and I play all int casters but necro). My wizard is the only one I can do this with as he got an AoE snare at lvl 29, then an upgrade at lvl 51.
So far as getting hit by it, it's only got me once in about 30 procs, I've resisted the rest :P

It's fun to be a dress-wearing tank.
My wizzie has maxed all but h2h (about 67) and throwing is probably still down in single digits.

I assume the proc is an intended disadvantage, so you don't go giving it to a twink. He whacks, the effect procs, and he takes 75 points of damage.

while i dont play on the server, most no drop items in firiona vie server can be traded. is this one? no idea. but it might be, ergo it possbile it can be twinked.

I have seen ppls twinked out in Skyshrine drops before (all NO DROP). They just had some nice high lvl friends that killed mobs for them and let them loot till they had a full set of armor.

How often you gonna use this staff for melee in a group that actually needs to us crowd control, if you are your a moron, this staff would be great for melee'in down green things though :)

ROFL this proc cast is very laggy indeed, but when does a wizzy melee???u dont have to worrie about lag, if the wiz doesnt melee, u dont have to worrie bout lag

This is a joke. If you are attacking a critter and this weapon procs, you are going to get hit along with any MoBs that might be mez, rooted, or just standing around (like greens that don't aggro).
Not to mention, since this is an Al`Kabor spell, it has a slightly wider radius than a normal AoE. This weapon is just kinda silly overall.

The only joke here is in the name. Learn how to use an AE proc weapon, or don't use em, but that besides my point. "Mystical LAIG Staff" ROFL, "lag" staff from the gfx when the proc goes off, rather funny.

lvl 20 wizzy aoe should do about 50-75ish dmg not bad with the int and manna

Yeah, my enchanter is going to start melee'ing mobs at the level I would get this thing.
