Got one today. This will help nicely with my neglected 2hb skill.
got it off the spectral crusader on the third floor. this weapon was visible on the NPC before he was slaughtered. a great item for MNK/BST to train up that 2 handed blunt with the low delay of 20. cheers!
EDIT: PS. the weight is not 10.0 stones. the correct weight is 1.0 stones MNK/BST usable and 1 augment slot; type 4 ...

Used my 61bst to head into Dalnir and get this nice 2hb trainer. Used it in a PoV kite group the other day and the skill-ups went up faster then I have ever seen 2hb go up.

I have one of these on Bristlebane server. name is now Taeloke, having moved servers and all... if you want it, I usually log on around 1130-midnight EST.

That picture is wrong it can also be used by a Beastlord. and it has a DMG Bonus of 13. It can also drop off a specral crusader.

The picture is only wrong because it is so old. It does state that BST can use in the item details above. Also, the Damage Bonus is going to vary based on the level of the wielder, its not a fixed 13. At lvl 28 when you start to get a Damage Bonus, it would only be 2. At 65 it should be 14.

i plan on getting full cured silk, 2 vox bracers, 2 4/45hp rongs, and two orc fang earrings to twink a lvl1 monk,using barb war to get this stuff an money, i plan on getting sarnak enforcers and one of these to train my skills because with a twink you can level up way too fast and get way ahead of your skills. so when i get to lvl5 im going to EC to one of the orc camps getting protection from the recent group and attacking what they do. Since im low lvl i will be able to do this without agro bcuz the group and so i will get all my combat skills up to a point where anything at my lvl is fresh meat! sounds like a good idea to me IMHO its superb ;o)!

Great to use on a low lvl BL/mnk or even a high lvl if u need 2hb up real fast. Its a good skill to up too, theres a (not sure bout exact stats) like 30,30 mnk (maybe BL now) 2hb with a proc and theres even better ones at higher lvls.
Basicly for mnks keep your 1hb 2hb and HtH (and pierce for BL) up, (1hb and 2hb mainly for pre-epic)

This is an awesome item to train your 2hb skill... whcih I've been neglecting ever since I got my Sceptre of Mastery. This has really helped me catch up, as its delay is amazingly low for a 2hb weapon. Plus it's amazingly light for a 2hb,,, the reason I rarely use 2-handers is becuase they're usually too slow and too heavy.
Actually for mid to low level monks, this is a decent weapon for fighting too, the dmg/dly is the same as a fighting baton, and on a 2hander!
It's nice to keep your 2hb skill up in case you get a decent 2hb weapon down the road and want to use it. Even higher level monks will want to keep the skill up, as there's times where you want to use a weapon that hits hard but slow, rather than your faster fists or 1hb... for example, fightnig something with a damage shield! In that case, you don't want to be using something too fast, or you'll eat up too much damage!

Great weapon, but the weight is a huge downside to it. However, at higher levels you can carry more so the weight will not matter that much.

Yes, beastlord useable. I didn't think to check on whether all the beastlord races can use it; I'll check up on that and post in a bit.

this weapon seems to be a real good weapon to train 2hb skills with, just my 2cp worth.

Hi I traded a blackjack and I think it is a really good weapon it hits hard for a lvl 11 monk. It is good for lower lvl Monk twinks.

I read about how great this weapon is and would love to acquire one - but where and how? Do i have to travel to Kunark or send out shout messages forever? Also at 100pp, uh - where do u get the loot ? DF belts?? Thanks in advance for your input.
As for the 100pp . . . can't help there. Either save, save, save and have a WHOLE LOT of patience, or find someone to twink/lend you the dough. One of the best places to buy is in East Commons at the entrance to the tunnel to North Ro. This is widely accepted as the "auction spot." Also, this website lists the price as 90pp, so don't forget to bargain a bit. And remember, as good as this weapon is (and it is good), you'll need to work on 2HB skills also. I got this weapon for about 125 plat in EC about three months ago (1/01). I was about level 10 or so. Now I'm level 20 and it's still my main weapon. When I want to do damage, this is the weapon I use. When I solo, I use this. Often times it appears that I strike three or four times in a row, because of the low delay. I'm heading to Dalnir in a few levels so I can get Fighting Batons without paying exorbiant prices, but when I get there, you can bet that I'll be using this staff to take out the Lumpy Goos.

Man, you think you look cool because you get multiple hits in a row? Get two fighting batons or and FB and an essence of dol. Then you'll really be hitting fast and crazy and you'll be seen striking 6 or 7 times in a row. Just my 2cp, I used to use this stick too :)

Significantly changed since the image was taken. I wouldn't suggest this for a monk at 10.0 weight, even despite the wonderful speed ratio. At the 1.0 that it ACTUALLY weighs, however, it's an incredble 2HB, especially at the lower levels.

With the speed on this thing it can appear to get quads in when you get a double attack. I see it all the time. And through in a strike for a quint! I'm still using mine at 22 and plan on using it for a while.

This is perfect if you are in a group (with a taunter) and want to improve your 2HB skills. I picked one up for like 100pp and kept it around for practice. I was level 30-ish at the time and I think I had reached my skill cap in about a day or two. Skills go up really fast because of the low delay.

I gave this to my Iskar Monk at lvl 1 and all I can say is wow. I cant prove it but this staff seems to have a double attack. Maybe its the 20 delay, all I know is that this staff is fast. At lvl 19 I am hitting for 17 and often. I know its not the most damaging staff or the coolest staff in the game but for someone who can twink, this is the staff he uses. I have a Bo Stick and a sage battle staff which are much stronger clubs, but compared to the damage output I will stick with the Bamboo :)

I'm lvl 10 human and just got this staff and i agree with you its FAST unfortunatly my skill in 2hb is only at 4 and i already to 15-17 damage and swing almost as fast as i do without any weapons equiped and i dont have many str buff items because i'm still a newbie
