Scars of VeliousToV is a hella fun just like to say that first. Also you can't just go to any of these zones and stnad around killing these things till you get a full set. In PoG the main pieces of armor such as BP and Greaves don't just drop off of normal mobs. Not very easy pieces of armor to get. Kael is hardest to get plus you have to be on zek faction, and if you were on coldain/CoV faction before gonna take a while to get this changed and to get back to the guy where you turn in the armor you should be atleast dubious to Tmax which is even harder to do... just some general info.

These legs blow, they lack HP which at higher levels is much more important then AC.

I would mix the Warlord and Myrmidion armor up, I would use....
Warlord Myrmidion
BP Hands
Legs Feet
Arms Bracers
Helm
Kinda evens out, the stats may look wierd but awesome stats...

That is the total of stats if equiped with a full suit. I dont know about you all but the Myr may not have the AC and STA but it kills the rest of the stats

the main difference that i can see between warlords and myrmidon armor is that the warlords has slightly higher ac and stats, and the myrmidon has slightly higher saves, to get the very best armor, you would have to mix and match these two suits. i'd like a full suit of warlords and a few pieces of myrmidon for when the saves are needed:)

If you are a high lvl warrior you can obtain a full suit of Warlord's armor, it does exist. This armor is in no way easy to get because the peices required for the quest drop in Temple of Vesheen and in high lvl Velious dungeons. I have heard that in order to do this quest you need to do major faction boosts.

Can this quest be done at lvl 46 or so? is the lvl 50 to obtain just because items are hard to get or will the guy not aknowladge you til you are 50?
Try hailing the npc that hands out the quests. If he responds to you then maybe you can do it. Though You need faction first usually, and to get faction in kael you need to kill dragons. And to kill dragons, you need to be high level. And most people who kill dragons in ToV are lvl 55+. Your lvl 46 so just be paitent. Start off doing the thurg armor quests. Then ss, then this armor. Heck I'm lvl 58 war and still don't have a full suite of champions:Thurg armor yet. I know it'll be a long time before I get my hands on my first piece of kael armor. Step by step I allways say.

ummmm.....can any lvl do this quest or do you actually have to be 50. Will they not let you start the quest until 50 or can you be a super twink and let your guild get the quest items for you?

Everyone keeps jumping up and down with all the new quest armors ;) i know they are good but think of it this way, someone does the thurg quest and everyone says its the best, then kael comes along and some of those pieces are the best - following this trend the skyfire armor is by far the hardest to get so it will probably have some of the best pieces. I think to get the max ac though you will have to mix and match from all 3 cities, which requires faction juggling. Its just anothe way for verant to make it hard on everyone, and rightly so.

uhhh warlord= lvl 60, these are the best. Armor of the Myrmidon(skyshrine) is next, then Champion
I thought that too: Champion armor, then Myrmidon armor, then Warlord armor in series of how good they are, which reflects the level titles (51 for Champion, 55 for Mymridon, and 60 for Warlord).
But consider that plane of growth seems to reflect the starting armor for Champion (Berserker is equivilent to it), and the names of plane of growth pieces - Assassin for Rogues. In addition, Beguiler armor is the quest armor from thurgadin for enchanters, and equivilent to PoG pieces.
It's pretty much just looking like arbitrary names.

Im thinking the Kael/SS armor might be equivilent, considering PoG and Thurgadin armor is for the most part. Just a thought
Well since we speculating i will say that like the the PoG and thurgadin where they have same ac and same numbers for the stat buffs the kael and ss will have same ac and numbers but diff stats buffed( ex kael legs ac 36 str 9 dex 7 mr 4 fr5, ss legs ac 36 str 9 agil 7 dr 4 pr 5) just a guess. =)

Of course they made these better then berzerker armor. These quest armors are a real pain to get, and why would someone take the time to do the quest if they could hang out in a fairly easy plane for a few hours to get the piece?
Is there a full set of these?

You ever go to ToV? thats where the armor parts for kael quests drop, and let me tell ya, its not a very fun zone. Makes getting armor from Thurg look like child's play.
