will you guys stop byatching about what is the best and stick to the topic what drops it what lvl to kill it where to find it take your arguments to some other place please this information is valuable to some people and we dont wanna have to sift through yer crap to find it........thanks
For some class/races there are "the best" armor for some levels ie: shadowknight bloodember

Furor Planedefiler, lvl 60 warlord and leader of Fires Of Heaven in the veeshan server is milking his guild in order to get the first full set, this is the best warrior armor in existence.

There is not a better set of Warrior armor than this. This is the best for the time being.

Posted: Feb 18 2001 at 2:07 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) That may be true, but I prefer my cobalt boots. As an ogre, the 0.0 weight of these is meaningless, but the strength buff in Cobalt is far superior to a couple of points of AC, sta and agility.

Your str buff does not stack with ANYTHING (I had cobalt for a year, think I used the click about 10 times) and it you think (at lvl 60) adding 48 hp's off your feet slot is not that important then please go back to playing in Karnors

Frankly, I find str buffs to be less valuable than AC. 2 or 3 points of ac is worth 15str to me.
Not to mention Sta for added hitpoints :)

Just use your cobalt buff then take them off and put these on. Most of the time you will be maxed out str from a shaman buff anyway.

As far as raw AC, it doesn't get any better than this. However, there is an unconfirmed rumor that there is a soft cap for AC at 1100 - that is, there are diminishing returns after 1100 AC.
I'd say for day-to-day use, this is the best armor out there, but of course, you'll need to mix and match gear for resists, statistics, etc.

I don't really care for the hue, but the graphic behind the hue is very nice :)
Personally, I'd take the AC of Warlord armor over any stat bonus from cobalt...

original poster about furor getting this: this IS the best armor for a warrior in existence, not even PoG items get close to this in raw ac. and the soft cap of 1100 for ac is true :(

I believe that the cap for ac is 1350 for warriors.

There is a thread on the Steel Warrior that suggests that, at least for PoP mobs, there is still an advantage, in terms of damage mitigation, to increasing AC to 1800 or more.
