just got this tonight off a thifling. very nice piece of armor here, considering i was using the greenmist breastplate. also had some cleric arms drop off a thrifling a few kills earlier.

all stats are correct on this...and it now states its usable by gnomes. i will send in an updated pic soon...

as a side note, the effect is right clickable and is a 90hp heal that takes 14.5 seconds to cast and OMG it owns :)
RE: w00t
# Dec 18 2002 at 4:34 PM Rating: Decent
well it says 100 but i think non cleric classes get a 10% penalty on heals so it should only heal for 90.
RE: w00t
# Jan 24 2004 at 4:19 PM Rating: Good
you would be incorrect. or at least now anyway, that was removed a while ago, and I think it was a mana penalty anyway
#eviltiminc, Posted: Nov 19 2002 at 1:39 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Invigorate is a 100hp heal. Also got this thing to drop off A Guardian Power. Don't know if we were lucky or what but had 2 of them drop on back to back pulls.
Hope they updated this for the gnomes

I would hope that with the expansion of the Gnomes into the Shadowknight Class that they have updated this suit and others for that racial change

What does noct armor look like with Luclin graphics? And what about the other SK Velious armors?

#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 05 2002 at 9:51 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You lucky bum hehe. I just joined Veeshan server a few weeks ago and ofcourse dont have all that great armor yet since VI is stupid and deletes your armor in the server transfer. The thing that I was so surprised about by your post was that you said you went with Rune of War guild. LOL thats the guild I just joined on Veeshan. So far they are cool when they do actually raid hehe. Right now we have been having a few problems with people in the guild actually logging in to play. But I hope to be as lucky as you and get to go with them back to Plane of Growth to get me some of that armor Smiley: grin!!!

Got one to drop last night on the final pull of the evening. Dropped from "A Greater Power", one of the mini-bears that look like a druid pet.

This is the coolest BP I've ever owned! And it looks pretty cool on my iksar body too!
just something to think about on this vs. BE...
# Sep 11 2001 at 3:24 AM Rating: Default
I don't think theres really an issue as to which is better period.... this ir bloodember... I would thiunk it's more of a... which is better for me and how i play kinda thing... any of u who play high lvl sk's know what i mean when i say SK's are an awesome and incredibly fun/versatile class to play.... however many people play them differently...if u are a group fighter (which alot are, probably most in fact at higher levels) then yes.... without a doubt go with bloodember... as one of the best taunters in the game the 75 or so hp and 60extra ac form the major shielding on bloodember BP is AWESOME!! being that we all know ull rarely be in a grp without a healer at these levels... HOWEVER... if ur more like me.... u solo alot... granted I'm only a 48 sk.... still have alot to learn BUT... I have solo'd most of my way to 48 and continue to do so... not so much because im not a team player etc.....in fact the opposite is true... but moreso because i like to explore and dont like staying in teh same place night after night... sometimes its not easy to find grps everywhere u want to go check out or sometimes u want to gain that last few bubs exp faster then a grp will allow... whatever being the case as a soloer an SK is an AWESOME class... good mellee abilities... fear kiting those HEAVY hitting mobs.... as a mainly soloer this is my conclusion... now that i finally have Jboots (emphasis on the FINALLY,,, d*mn AC spawn... hehe) sow is no longer something i worry about... the one thing i am missing is a way to heal myself ... we can solo way into high lvls no prob but... if we could heal ourselves.... think of all that less downtime... if u solo alot id def recomend this bp or the dark runed bp (thurgadin quest armor) the clickable 100pnt heal takes downtime between fights from 10minutes + at times... to a mere 2 minutes (casue of 15 second cast time and the recast delay) makes us alot more efficient witht he exp gains when soloing... anyhow if ur grper def go with bloodember if u like to LIVE... hehe get urself a means of healing urself (and jboots) LOL

Dude! I think you might have something to say here, but you are so illiterate that it's a real struggle to wade through your crappy writing.

Next time please consider writing in English instead of "chat".

well, when you have 4k hp even when soloing (with virtue which lasts long time) at lvl 48, this takes a shat load of casts, why not just get a cleric or sham friend to come along and speed it up way fast (if you are doing that much healing, especially with the new regen bonuses where after sitting a few minutes at lvl 50 you are regening 60hp a tick)its a decent effect to click when cleric oom and you are impatiently waiting, but other than that, it's not that useful after lvl 55 when the good exp mobs will kick your *** for 200-400dmg a pop. Also dps wise, sk's soloing post 50 need either caster mobs they can fear kite, or resist (because of weak hp on casters) or they wasting their time considering mobs start having 7-15k hp and thats a lot of damn fear kiting. Just my opinion, but this bp is ok, more for ac and hp than anything, but the effect is ok if you are at a solo camp for named or something...
Got it :)

Noctivigant BP
# Jun 17 2001 at 3:18 PM Rating: Default
For those of you who are wondering what drops SK stuff in PoG...
Gale Wolfs drop the common pieces(bracer boots helm gloves)
Thifling Sprites drop the uncommon pieces(they also drop cleric's uncommon pieces)(BP, Legs, and arms)
Noctivigant BP imho is better than BE...altho I would take both...great for soloing...just buff yourself with major shielding put on the Noctivigant and rip crap apart.

Noct armor looks very cool on DE. I personally have no need for blood ember now, at 55 i have 1089 AC unbuffed, my ac and HPs would actually decrease if i went back to Kunark armor. the Stat buffs on all the pieces are kinda whimpy at first glance but if you are able to get a full set you actually are pretty buff (for a small race. This stuff must be just amazing on Iskar however with their natural AC. If any Iskars get fully suited drop me a line in Eci with your stats id be very interested. It took me about 3 months of 1 to two raids a week to get a full set, but Eci is very underpopulated on high lvl SKs (not that i mind at all), Match this armor with one of the Lances from Dragon Necropolis and you are one sweet SK.

Match this with an epic and your a GOD. Well not really but you sure would kick some major ***. I have been to POG 4 times now and we have only seen 1 piece of noc drop so what gives are we not killing the right stuff. Do we have to clear the entire zone for this stuff. Also any idea what drops NOC armor more frequently?

On Iksar (which is the only race I care about =P ) the BP looks kinda natural and frilly like a plant. And on males it's tan and on females (ready?) it's pink. Yes a Grave Lord with frilly pink armor.

# Mar 08 2001 at 11:55 AM Rating: Default
It has a completely new texture and is yellow in color. Does not look like regular plate.
BP COLOR IS....
# Apr 03 2001 at 11:20 PM Rating: Default
Its a very light green that in certain places it has yellow dots. U could almost say it looks your wearing some turtle shell. BP rocks but an SK in this color, bah, not something i would choose. However there is like a black diamond shape under each arm of the BP in which maybe the vambraces may have some black to them and kinda look more like what we are, a dark knight, not some frog looking dude. I sure hope this stuff is not all light green with yellow dots in sertain places. Like the gaunts have a yellow dot right in the middle of the top part of the hand and they are light green. Looking wierd Verant.
I don't get this though...
# Feb 19 2001 at 2:26 AM Rating: Decent
I could see mobs in Tunare's plane dropping items that people who could choose her as a diety could use (such as clerics, warriors, enchanters, and rogues(?)) But I don't get who something in a plane with such a god would have things for Shadowknights or Necromancers etc. I mean are they saying that these classes are what this god surrounds herself with? Maybe I just think that is rather out of place because I expect it to make sense (well I guess it is verant) and I know that her children shouldn't be killing things there to get things but I mean really... Rather than making things "NO DROP" wouldn't it make more sense rather to make them unable to be equipped on people pre-46? And in this plane drop things for classes that would have the chance to worship this deity? (Not deity only of course but at least have Shadowknight and other such classes have items drop in an appropriate plane)

Just my 2cp. Flame if you must.

RE: I don't get this though...
# Feb 20 2001 at 8:49 AM Rating: Default
OK so what you are saying is the followers of a god should have to slaughter other followers (of the same god) to get good equipment....Na I think Waring Followers(people who follow different gods) should try to kill eachother and gain the kick ares armour.....and to the victor goes the spoils. Ok if you still don't get it Look at it like this..... (if the armour was for people worshiping the same god) A country's army killing its own citizens so it can steal the best land for itsself, which in return it gives back to its loyal citizens.... ( theArmour is for waring people) A country's army killing its neighboring country's citizens so it can steal the best land for itself, which in return, it gives back to its loyal citizens.

Hope this kinda clears things up for ya. I know it a logic thing
RE: I don't get this though...
# Feb 19 2001 at 11:39 AM Rating: Decent
You could also see it this way: Tunare and her ilk aquired these items by slaying the followers of Innoruk, Bertoxxulous, and Cazic-Thule. They're just holding the equipment to keep us from getting our evil little hands on them, so we can't use them for our nefarious schemes. But this is futile, for as we all know, "Evil will always win, because Good is Dumb."
RE: I don't get this though...
# Feb 19 2001 at 3:57 AM Rating: Default
Point: Surely you don't expect those Tunarean Clerics and Paladins to actually *hunt* those creatures who are direct servants of their god? That doesn't make any sense either. Appropriate to the plane or not, the essential fact of the matter is that "good" characters are expected to hunt in the "evil" plans (hate, fear, etc) and vice versa. So, why shouldn't the drops there be appropriate for those characters who are supposed to hunt there?
RE: I don't get this though...
# Feb 25 2001 at 11:57 AM Rating: Default
think of it this way. If your a 'good' race why would you wear stuff that drops off of your god. On the other hand killing things in the PoG as an SK, you would expect to be able to (and want to in a RP sense) wear it.
RE: I don't get this though...
# Feb 26 2001 at 3:10 PM Rating: Default
Let's face it, Verant whiffed. If they had opened PoG and PoM at the same time they opened PoH and PoF, they could have made it so that Lighties got their armors off of the evil gods/denizens, and Darkies got their good stuff off the good gods/denizens. Since they didn't, we should expect High Elves and Pallys going forth to kill Tunare any time now =)

All non-named, non-special NPCs in the Plane of Growth have assigned loot tables. For example, Sanguine Kodiaks drop monk/ench pieces (all but bp/legs), while Sylvan Protectors drop monk bp/legs and some other things which I can't remember. Thifling sprites can drop cleric/shadowknight bp/legs.

What i gain from this BP is 40 mana, 7 int and sv fire +3.
What i lose to BE BP is 20 hps, 2 str, 1 agi, 1 dex, 1 sta, 7 sv magic and 15 AC with 1.4 multiplyer on 42 AC.
That is if i use the effect on BE BP!
If you are playing a troll like me you dont need the effect invigorate, i dont know if applyes to ogres.
The best thing about this NBP is Iksar useble!
Right now i have both:)

I must applaud Verant at this item and how it relates into the Blood Ember series of armor. As most of you know, you 'need' to be in a Uberguild or raid ready guild to ever have a shot at BE BP or Legs. With this stuff, you can join indy raids and whatnot, and still get a comparable (almost) piece of armor. Nice item!
