I only bought this for 45k. 100k seems like alot for this
45 seems like alot too lol ive seen them for 20k on rallos philthyone tapsdatass
They go for 65k+ on Veeshan. But then again Veeshan has one of the most screwed up economies in the game. Too much money floating around.

This item has it's obvious uses to the Necromancers, however, used in conjuction with the Manna Robe for any of the pure casters, your mana/hp regeneration is greatly increased. Stack the heart on top of the "Phantom Shielding" series of the Magician class and it become even more efficient.

Did I completely miss the idea that Iskars get 18hp/tick regen? If this is correct someone /t me in-game, I'm making an Iskar monk!
I've seen someone trying to sell the Heart in EC for a few days at 100k, but he's down around 70k now and getting a litle more sensible.
Edit: it's 3hp a tick. Zland Heart seen in EC for 90k yesterday, but I still don't see people buying them.
And I was serious about /t me in-game...

a 60 iksar necro (or iksar anything)regens at 18 per tic so with heart sytacked its 23. i love my heart and btw i killed for it. i wouldnt pay for one that would suck but IMHO give it to an inky or egghead. they would get better use out oif it

It's not 12hp a tick and it's not 3hp a tick. It's 5 hp a tick. I have one.

He was talking about the zheart, which is indeed 5hp/tick fixed. At level 60 iksar regenerate 12hp/tick standing and 18hp/tick sitting.
Yes, at level 58, my Iksar regen sitting down is currently 18 HP per tick. With my fungi tunic it bumps it up to 33 HP per tick.

there is a difference between sitting and standing regen though dont forget. Its 12 standing, 18 sitting. And from the chart I looked at (monkly business) its same at lvl 60.

casters realm says this effect regens 5 hp/tick. anyone know for sure? everyone is giving different numbers.
Does this stack with regrowth spell?

It was being sold for 70k on my server and I was eager to raise the money. Not sure what it sold for but it is definately worth more than 30k. I think you did very well.

It was sold last night on my server for 20k. Too bad I missed the sale. As so many peeps are killing Zlandicar now...the price is going to go down to that level...which is really where it belongs. It gives you a 5pt/tick regen. Coupled with my DE regen when I sit, it will be a regen of 19 hp/tick. I think 30k was a good price in October, but 20k is where the price will be pushed due to a glut of them in the market.

With a level 52 Erudite Shadowknight I get 10pts per tick sitting.

Could anyone confirm how much this item regenerates please. I've been told anything from 4 per tick to 12 per tick.

It's a perm effect as long as you holding it.
It's a perfect prim hand item for all int casters who don't have epic yet, including enc who can get over the cha problem.
And I also think it's a huge wrong assumption that when you get to the level of having the heart = you should have your epic.
BTW, it looks like a sword or so when you are holding it (not heart, sorry to disappoint your guys).....so next time when you see a caster holding a weapon (anything except a staff), you might want to check him/her out. Coz he/she might be holding Zlan's heart.

I would have to agree to this item being one of the best in the game for necros. I currently use a Pheno focus and a claw (still no epic) would gladly give up the claw to use this.

Incorrect. Pheno focus is primary/secondary. You could give up either the hand or the focus. Personally, I'd give up the hand.

Alright here is the low down.
Zlandicar's heart gives what 12hp tick? As an iksar, I get 18hp tick for a total of 30hp tick regen if I have this equipped.
Arch Lich takes 31 HP/tick and turns it into 20 Mana/tick. Medding, I now gain 20 mana tick and lose 1 HP/tick.
Demi Lich takes 48 HP/tick and turns it into 31 Mana/tick. Medding, I gain 31 mana and lose 18 HP/tick.
As you can see. This iksar necromancer will never be /gsaying OOM, and your cleric won't have to be wasting heals on me. In fact, your necromancer can now become the healer for the casters in the group, and let the cleric deal with the tanks. I don't own this one yet, but I have put my natural regen to good use in groups by backup healing on casters so the clerics don't have to waste the mana. I can only dream of what I could do holding a dragon heart in my hand.
I would rather be a stupid iksar necro, than a dead softskin necro.

AH! Finally found this post again. I remembered seeing it a long time ago and just wanted to reply to it since as of now there are the new SoL abilities. Just to Tweak the above statement just a bit: Arch Lich is currently 20mana for 31 hp per tic. Being an iksar you will have about 18hp regen per tic but more *supposedly* 50+. with the 12hp/tic regen from the heart(regeneration is ONLY 5 hp per tic btw if you check the spell data) sitting down. So in short with this in hand and sitting you will be on a 20mana/1hp conversion. Now that SoL is out, you can train a few points into innate body rejuvination to gain an extra 3hp/tic. You will be gaining a positive 20mana from arch lich, a positive 2hp/tic from the heart+sitting+iksar regen+AA abilities, AND since you will be sitting your regular meditation skill will be active allowing you to gain whatever mana you would from that. So we are looking at at least a positive 30-40+ mana/tic, and a positive 2hp regen per tic. This is a very very very impressive item for a necromancer to have, and on the Innoruuk Server (one of the few severs that never split thus destroying our economy) most Necromancers choose to have this instead of their epic. Well thats pretty much all I had to say. May your loots be many, while your CRs are few. =D
ps. just came back to update my post. At www.castersrealm.com we were informed that a new arch lich is on test (35mana/53hp instead of the regular 20mana/31hp conversion table)

i think you confused arch lich with lich. Lich is level 49, and gives 20 mana per tick, demi is level 56 and gives 30 a tick. arch i think gives 35, but im not sure, i guess go look on castersrealm if you care. Another thing tho, the -hps are not quite accurate, since they are figured in at pvp damage, so you actually lose only 66% of whats stated on castersrealm. Thats why innate regen is so goood.
In addition, the DE that thinks using zland heart gives him 18 hp a tick regen sitting is wrong. Unless you are factoring in AA regen or something. Iksars at level 60 regen 18 hp a tick sitting i believe. I doubt a level 50something DE regens 13 a tick normally +5 from zheart.

Too bad you have to be able to equip an item before you can "make a hotkey for it" and click it. Like circlet of shadow... SHD / NEC only item.. You have to have it in a primary inventory slot AND be a SHD / NEC before you can click it.

LOL. Sorry to laugh, but you must be mistaken with another mob. Zlandicar spawns every 3~ days or so. You CAN camp him (not quite in the sense of sitting in Old Sebilis waiting for Chef to pop or something) but it's not like you walk into DN and shout '/shout 51 warrior LFG Zlandicar group' thx~ and expect to get it. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant by 'camping' him but it just sounded funny the way your wrote it =P

Damn i just got my duck staff and i don't know if i should switch it with this. The regan would kick *** when i'm in skele form to get mana but then again i want to use my new epic. I'll probly just get one of these heart/scims and switch it with ducky during downtime

Yeah see...if you went to DN and get him and the heart dropped...you prolly wouldn't be a canidate for recieving it seeing you have your epic IMO

Yeah, it's real, an awesome necro item, still pretty good as a magician and wizard item. Although, im sure an enchanter would take one of these and make up for the charisma in another slot any day. The regeneration makes my necromancer regenerate at 12hp per tick (not bad) and the stats.... well they are incredible. Zlandicar always drops the heart, so it isn't too uncommon, it has the appearance of a velium falchion (odd i know) and Zlandicar's spawn time is about 3 days, give or take 8 hours. He's deep in the Dragon Necropolis past alot of ratmen and across a river behind a water fall. To access the necropolis you must past through Siren's Grotto (not fun w/o succor) and then continue through the Western wastes (also very dangerous) then you will come upon 4 pillars with arched lightning. Just click on a pillar and you will zone in, after zoning in it's the same to get back out. At entrance you are "relatively" safe with only a few big 46+ phase spiders spawned around (about 100ft away). The real danger however is that traps are in this dungeon that will spawn like 10 level 40 beetles or a Dragon construct (about level 55, not too rough though) among other various creatures. well.... Goodluck! =P

Just wondering if this would stack with Regen BP's..
only if you're a shadow knight, as I believe they're the only class who is common between any other permanent regen item and this one.

I just got this item and wow its a velium scimitar grafic, i love how verant takes the time to come up w/ orginal grafix for ubber items oh well at least i get double takes as a caster w/ a scimitar :) oh and the regen is 8pt tic and its constant not trigered

I was flipping around Guild sites the other day(from Tholuxe Paeles...bah, I cant spell today) and a guild by the name of Rebirth had a screenshot of this and some other items after they slain Zlandicar(I think for the first time on Tholuxe, could be mistaken)

Not only does Klandicar say when he dies "Grant me this boon, take my heart and hurl it into the fire in the Necropolis. . ." but I also have a Velium Spiked War Helm and it has text going off the side of the parchment. So speculate all you want, but I'd give this a chance as being real.
