Ive been farming these and the robust ones in UP for awhile now and I can say they only drop off the Dark Assassins never the Masters at all

Just had one drop in Vex Thal from a "Qua Thall Xakra" Shade model.
Exceptional Shade Essence sells for 0 plat 0 gold 1 silver 0 copper when offered to Sateal Deirosap vendor in the bazaar by level 2 human monk with 143 cha... Current bazaar prices range from 100 to 150 plat on bertox server...

akheva ruins off of 'shade reavers' (sic) was one of the cloaked mobs
These drop aroung the gate area in GE, from a shadowy figure, a belligerant guardsman, and a darkened occultist. My rule of thumb is that if the mob has beady red eyes, chance for drop on Exceptional, no eyes, means Robust chance. My rate of drop on these is about 1 every half hour. Maybe SOE can do something about the rate, or number of potions each combine will make, farming NBL in Old Seb, or Deepwater Inks in SG, can get a stack of 20 in that time, which will make around 100 potions (shrug, wishful thinking, but a Shaman can hope). All in all I like the path of the new alchemy for logically making the new items, just feel that the results are not inline with what is spent time wise to create them.
p.s. Think the rarity should be changed to uncommon

Have also heard from a post by Ngreth that these drop in VT from certain mobs there, but can't confirm as to frequency, have not been there yet.
Where can this be found please. Im sure alot need to know sence its for the GM alchemy bag potion.
