I got this on my wizzy a few weeks ago. First time I used it was in Loping Planes. Can't remember name of mob that hit it but it was one of the Blood....err..something or other near the Gaters. It took him down 10% percent of his health and caused me to become a splat on the ground when the mob ignored my groups MT and came right for me. Not sure if its percentage based or set number of damage. But if you are kiting this is a alright to use.....its extra damage...

It has its uses. From what I can tell, it might do around 1000 in fire damage. Having done the quest just recently I've been playing with tactics for this spell. Besides being a defensive casting I've considered its use as a distraction.

Well i got this today and its pretty dumb. It pops a lil green thing next to you and if a mob comes near it, it hits them i think. Have not really seen it do much. But it was easy to get. I just wanted a cool looking one like the bard or zerker aura. So dont be to over excited to get this one.
