Picked mine up last night at the Bazaar also for 3k on the Terris-Thule server. It soaked up most of my cash, but I guess I could get most of it back by shaking down Frost Giants in GD. I hope my back doesn't go when I do that since those FGs are heavy!

I got these gloves for 2222pp in the Bazaar last night. It was between these and the grey flesh but they were being sold for 5200pp. I think the coldain are a better choice but that's just me.

these are good, but i recomend grey flesh gloves with stats of :
AC: +6 Dex: +10 Wis: +6 Int: +6 Cold Resist: +10 HP: +20 Mana: +25
these are a little better the the coldain gloves, and much cheaper and easier to come by, the difference is coldain have sta, and the grey flesh have dex, and coldain has a little more ac, i personaly recomend grey flesh gloves for the common caster.....

um, grey flesh gloves are wis/int casters only... no pure melees no hybrids. quite obviously he's talking about casters

These gloves are great... combined with the boots and a PKT (pearl kedge totem 18wis hand held) they free up alot of slots for resists and ac got myself 100+ on all resists now. =)

These gloves are excellent for ANY class.
I will use these for my monk until I get my epics. The only other glove I would consider would be the chitin hand wraps, and thats only after careful consideration of other haste/non-haste items available to you.

The scribe is 100% magic resistant, so no snares, stuns, roots. Yetarr is near King Tormax, and is on Tormax faction.

False. Yetarr is on Kromzek / Kromrif faction, I am apprehensive to tormax while warmly to Yetarr.

he can't be snared/stuned/rooted with spells but he can be stuned with bash best idea is to get some paladins or sk's with ya for when he starts trying to run away... also he can be nuked with fire type spells... I'm a 59 druid and hit for full dmg with wildfyre (1024dmg firebased spell)

He wants to hire some mercenaries to seek our and slay key Coldain Leaders. He will reward you if you return with either the Royal Scribe's, or the Royal Huntsman's head, both of which are located within Icewell Keep. Turning in the head of the Royal Scribe will result in the Coldain Skin Gloves.

You should read your own words most of the quest stuff can be gotten by killing the quest giver so you don't have to switch factions to get it.

They were originally AC 4, but got changed to AC 12 after one of the patches. The change was about 3 weeks ago or so.
The result of what quest? Jeeze, if it weren't for the fact that Tunare would be upset with me, I'd sign on with the Giants just for this and the Giant Scalemail Vambraces.
Of course, I'd still want to kill a giant or two for those Gladiator Chain Leggings.

a lot of the Velious quests are like that... quest rewards dropping off the quest giver. so that different faction paths may still get the item.

It's a quest as well, you hand the head of the scribe near the dain in icewell to one of the giants near tormax, easy :).
