Been farming this with groups for a about a month. We clear the entire zone every time. The first two weeks we tried it on hard only (for the xp) and got 1 drop out of 18 missions. In the last 2 weeks we did normal, and usually didn't have to clear all of the zone before one dropped. On normal it dropped 8 out of 21 times. It seems to drop MUCH more often in normal than hard. Has anyone else noticed this?

just got this last night. finally put group together and did longshadow.1, then before they logged grabbed this mision just to camp for it, about 20 kills in it dropped. was dropped by a drachnid champion just inside first tower.

done this mission 19 times now and still nothing. been clearing the field, both towers and sometimes the areas all around the living bridges. beginning to think it doesnt drop anymore.

Tonight I decided I was going to start farming this mission for the mask. I did it once. Me (tacvi wiz) and a Mage. Kited it easily. Began to clear the field and Within 1 hour it dropped. Not sure which spider had it, didn't notice but it was off the group of 3 chilling around the fire between the 1st and 2nd tower. I think Imma go play the lotto now.....

after about a week of camping this instance (normal) 2-4 hrs a night clearing field and both towers 1st floor and 1 floor down i finally got it, can confirm it drops in normal and it was the champion who gave me mine. goin back to get 1 for my bot over the next few days =D gl to all of you who are after it its a pita camp but if ur a clickie junkie like me its well worth it

i finally got one of these after killing im sure over 2000+ drachnids i probly made 100 aa on 2 characters, you will grow of old age camping this item, I was there every single day since i could remember killing everything for somtimes up to 4 hours

Just got this after, man i don't even know lol. i stopped counting how many clearings of this i did at 25, was at least 10 more after that. i made a total of 59 AAs there, duo, 6% a kill, yeah. I had been clearing the field and the 2 towers with my bot and after week and a half of nothing, invited a friend to come just rip apart the zone. well, we did and sure enough, it dropped. smeone else posted that they cleared the zone once and it dropped, made me wonder if its on one mob every time. anyway, my suggestion would jsut be to clear the zone, don't jsut stop with the field and 2 towers.
EDIT- it was the normal version in case anyone is wondering, and it dropped in the hive cluster where the named is located. dropped off a champion on the bottom level of that cluster.

It dropped in The orb of subversion (normal)
I have been camping it for my rogue for a week or so..What I did was boxing three chars and root-soloing the mobs with my shaman twink..its kinda easy as they are low resists and low HP. I believe I was kinda lucky with the drop by the numbers of profanities in /gu when it dropped.
It dropped from a drachnid champion so please add that to mob drop list.
On the backside of the tower, you use to levitate to living bridges, there are 2 static spiders close together in a hole in the ground just next to the tower wall. The spider dropping was the one that stod nearest the living bridges.
EDIT: typo and added spawn info (probally useless info but anything that might help easen the camp is worth a shot)

My advice is to get a necro or 2 and just kite this like a 69.1.I've had 3 masks drop so far,not too hard to camp.

cleared the entire field and sometimes more inside a tower or two atleast 100 times, im not joking....this thing is ridiculously rare, i think ive earned it.....

Dropped off of a drachind cursewielder, after 10 clearings of the field and the two towers. Thanks Blastin for the info.

Only clearing the field one time a day for four days, today i left after clearing most of the field to go to help kill goats when i came back the instance had reset, so i began killing again and it dropped off of a static a drachind cursewielder on hill behind the first tower.

I 3 box'd this...Clr ench war. For 69hrs total and it dropped of a drachnid champion. Just keep at it guys. It's a zonewide drop 100%.
Btw I might be the only one with all 3 clickies in game ~ if anyone knows who else has all 3 PM me.

Switched from hard to normal missions. Mask ended up droppping in a normal mission, while clearing the field. sorry didnt watxh what i looted it off of gave up on soulstealers and was killing everything in sight. Dropped off one of the drachnids that was near the fire up to the left either the 2 or 3 static spawns. Maybe did 7 hards 7 normals but dropped in a Normal.

Mob that it drops off of says lvl 71 Soulstealer, Yet ppl have reported to have found the drop in Normal missions where the Soulstealers are lvl 68. SO if any here has seen it drop on the normal please speak on the location of the spider , perhaps they are higher lovel in places other than the field. (underground pergaps or on top of toweer)

this has to be the rarest item I have ever seen, I have cleared the entire field atleast 30-40 times and it has yet to drop

What is name of npc to get this instance.
Given by Shadowwalker Dustspirit in stoneroot falls.
He is on the South wall, in the North west section of the zone.
