These don't really seem worth the time to a cleric. (I got myself these since I nabbed the corroded from Kael and happened to come by some jaundice along the way to Thurg one time..) Unless you are really into AC, the sleeves you can get from Twilight Sea as a regular drop from the elementals are much more worth it. They have amazing stats and though the ac is low, they have stats! 3dex 2wis 35hp is not what I call stats. Check out the cool twilight sea arms! I love the bare-arm look on my dwarven cleric.
I use Donal's all the time to buff people in my group who like buffs but I notice rarely getting hit. That way I can save the mana and the extra HP they get can save them. Of course that was before Group Heroism. Now that I have this, it is good for buffing newbies and buffing pets.
I would prefer these arms over the donal's for the extra stats. Valor is not worth losing the stats for IMHO.
I have had a pair of Donals for a while (since 45), and while I used them quite a bit back then, I don't use them much to buff peeps anymore (I am now 55). But, a great use for them is buffing pets. I sit around before a raid begins and hit all the pets with Valor, and periodically, when I get the chance :) heal them with it also...
Also useful after a death and rez in the party to mana-free heal before re-heroing...
when i first got the arm plates for these, i had to admit, they didnt seem much in comparison to the other pieces of the set, which have proc, except perhaps the gloves. Donnals after all, has more slightly higher ac, and a nice proc of valor, but the more i use these, the more i like them. whilst not quite as high as the ac on donnals, it is still very good for sleeves, and the addition of wis helps even more, along with the dex and hp as bonuses. These are well worth using instead of donnals, then swapping over when you need to use the valor effect. The stats compare well to etheral mist too, which has lower ac but 9str, and 7 sv magic, but i would personally use these.

hmm, well, the vlor effect might seem nice to buff newbies, but it has one GREAT use. Mana free heals. make sure the target doesn't have valor or better, and just keep casting it. when it hits, they get a bit of hp, and they cancle it, cast again, more hp.. repeat til full
You can also use Valor to buff in places like DL where buffs aren't all that important (as opposed to dungeons). Usually if you have a decent group, it's not a big deal and saves onmana.
