I'm not 100% sure, but I heard from several people that this no longer drops. I plead to everyone that reads this to ask on their server to the uber guild if they have been to VP (none have on Tallon Zek) and ask if they've killed Silverwing. Most ppl say it's obvious they took it out cause it was way too good. To me, I don't really agree. I mean, none on our server have been in the zone yet, let alone get so far as to kill Silverwing, so I'd say the sword is a reward well earned no? Considering that the Oggok Cleaver has 44 damage and 60 delay, ok it's a worse dmg/dly in the end but they haven't taken that out, and lots of ppl have been in that zone (ie it's easier to get in I assume)
Also, there are 16 2h slashers that have better dmg/dly, but they haven't been taken out.
lastly, Innoruuk's Curse, the SK Epic (which IMHO is is waaay to good, it has better dmg/dly then the WARRIOR epic for crying out loud + a 250lifetap whereas the warrior gets 75mg + an AC debuf) has a better Dmg/dly than Executioners, so I really don't understand how this blade would be "so good it has to be take out of the game"

the reason the SK epic has a better ratio than the warrior epic is SK's are designed to do damage...warriors are ment to take damage (i know we SK's can take alot of damage but by design warriors take more) that also explains why the SK epic proc does 250 syphon damage and the warriors does 75dm and adds AC to the warrior (to **** off a mob and boost AC at the same time)

The epic weapons were designed with the Class traits in mind.
Verant hit the nail on the head with the SK epic as well as with the Warrior epic.
Show me one high level warrior that would pass up extra damage and AC for a long term life tap and I will show you a soon to be dead fool.
When getting hit by mobs that could quad hit for 200+, you ain't looking for a long term life tap, you be looking for more AC to soften that big hit to a little tap.
Warriors need AC and Damage not a long term life tap.

Yeah, I agree that it's good that the 1hers have good taunting procs. But the 2hander? Usually when warriors go 2H they want to avoid taunt. Warrior 2h is a joke, though SK epic is still decent. I now have a Tantors tusk, and I'll use it anyday over the 2H version of epic anyday.

Im lvl 57 war.. got the axe, so far max hit has been 244dmg (non crit/crip).. yes i had max str (255) and not sure what attk was.. maey around 1135.. heh and im barbarian, i can get 247 str with cobalt boots

First a few corrections....
Rarity: our guilds first Silverwing slaying we got 2, so either we got really lucky, or its not all that rare.
Magic Item, Lore Item, and NO DROP so don't even think about saving your money to buy one, it won't happen :)
Pricing data: 1,500 LOL, even if it were tradable, you'd get laughed at for even attempting such a pathetic offer for such an awsome weapon.
Level to attain 55: yeah right, try dragon in veeshans peek with an avg lvl of 55 and let me know how the CR goes :)
This weapon has it all! Looks really cool, just like a wurmslayer, well at least I've always thought the wurmslayer was really cool looking. And with my cloak of piety, the 50 delay isnt that bad, not to mention that when you are high level enough to get this you will be grouped with an ench or bard 90% of the time so the 50 delay isn't as bad as it sounds, and its got the extra damage bonus for having >40 delay which works well for an ogre SK with 223 str.
Just for those of you out there wondering, 225 is max damage at lvl 57, so it should top out close to 235 at lvl 60, my avg hit is 104, a fair number of my succesfull double attacks are in the 250+ range, and occasionally I'll land some 400+ doubles, I think Executioner's Blade is a very fitting name.
I've run logs to check damage output, this out damages all the other uber weapons I've used quite significantally. And those aren't shabby weapons I'm comparing it to either, JICA 32/40, ebon mace 19/24, and tantors tusk 50/60. Executioners Blade is truely one of the most awsome weapons in the game.

this item used to be just magic and lore and was sellable. a friend of mine has this blade and it was recently changed to no drop, which sucks because i was going to buy/trade him for this awesome axe. let me just tell you that people can talk all their stuff about having 1hs weapons in each hand, but i would take an awesome 2hs weapon like this ANY DAY. my friend drops consistantly over 100dmg and crits in the 300's. in the immortal words of MC hammer, cant touch this.
