1% per level of the character. Proc lasts long enough at 36th lvl for 2 backstabs. Usually procs 2 times a combat. I am using it in my off hand with a Slime coated harpoon in the primary and yes the haste effects all forms of combat. This is also one of the best looking weapons in the game as it looks like a nice shiney Katana. Picked is up off of the "Gladiator" class giants in Kael. Do not expect to waltz in and farm this puppy even if you are 60th lvl. I am willing to trade this if the offer is right as it doesn't belong on a twink, but I needed to test it out myself.

This item is basicly constant effect. For me, with 117 dex, it procs about 1 out of 7 hits average. The haste is pretty awesome, its at least 40%.
Considering those, and considering that tanks are more for tanking and taunting then killing (granted they do good at the killing part), would you rather wield this with a nice weapon (locustlure was my favorite during our tests) and use a good AC belt (ie. thick banded) or just 2 really nice weapons with a FBSS (the swiftblade has about 3x the haste of the sash or more)?
Personally, I would rather use this sword with a nice cannon weapon (Wurmspayer was one of my favorites because it was cheap and pretty good) and I kept a Throneblade of the Ykesha with me so if we had a 'chanter or shaman to cast haste (rather then proc it) I would just use 2h.

This item is dropped in Kael Drakkal. We found one the other night on our way to the Protector of Zek (apparently the first ever). I lost it on a roll of 412/500 hmph.

item hastes do not stack it has already been stated as so you are quite ignorant to this fact

I believe this is a proc haste, like a spell, not an item haste like CoF. If it is a proc it will stack. I have heard the proc lasts but 10 seconds or so...not sure on clocked haste % though

I am not sure what the fuss is. Haste items don't stack, so this replaces your FBSS, cloak of flames, etc. Which allows you to wear an AC belt if you had an FBSS, but for that small gain in AC you sacrifice considerable meelee power in the form of a weapon that would normally be 9/19 or 9/18 or even better. Only way this weapon is worth it is if the haste is uber.

this is one heck of a weapon, depending on the haste this could go for quite a fortune too.
If the haste is good then having this in primary with a flamesong in secondary would be one killer combo for Rangers.

Hey all,

actually, if it's Item haste, it will affect anything you do that is able to be influenced by item haste. It's just like wearing A FBSS or Cloak of flames or Runebranded girdle. Wherever you got the idea that it will only affect the main hand i have no clue, but that is an untrue statement to make

This sword PROCS haste, not perm haste. It stacks with item haste such as my ragebringer. It only lasts for about 8 seconds though, appears to be of alacrity speed. Just a toy, looks cool as hell though.
