Nifty idea

I think the focus here is attempting to provide an option for clerics to melee, if a little.

I think the Sprinkler is obviously far superior in raid situations. However, I think the sacrifice my add some to the 'fun' factor.

Look, a shaman usable ressurection item!

Is anyone else sick of shamans complaining? 'We cant heal as well as clerics'. Well, no kidding, Clerics cant dot or buff like you... Do you see us complaining? Waah wah. Clerics get a cannaII item. Well thats real useful at 60th level.

Sorry. Just had to rant cuz all I read about on every EQ site is about 'Shaman Issues' that really just seems like a bunch of whiny people being greedy.

if it was triggered then I could understand, but it's a proc.. must melee with it for it to go off, and usually when a cleric melee's it's when they're full mana anyways.. hmm, I hope you do get your wish, a weapon that procs comp heal :p

a shammy weapon the PROCS cheal would be unfair as shammies can melee. right clickable would be okay though. but oh well i really dont care anymore the whole epic quest thing was stupid anyway. all people do is complain about them and how hard they are and how the effect is useless. WAH WAH WAH if you dont like it dont do the quest. verant has dont some poor planning with quests most are too hard to do unless you are in an uber guild and even then they take weeks to get. its a mistake to make better stuff drop off mobs and the like.
2nd best cleric weapon?
# Jan 18 2001 at 11:11 PM Rating: Default
Is there another cleric weapon better than this (other than the FA quest weapon of course)? And is the effect right-click or proc?

It works like this:

If Can2 is a right-click effect this is better than the Water Sprinkler of Nem Ankh.

If Can2 is a proc, then Sacrifice isn't as good as the Sprinkler.

My reasoning? Clerics need mana more than they need a free rez. In fact, with Sacrifice (if it's a right-click) you could cast free rez anytime you wanted and just have to heal yourself every once in a while. This is the reason the manastone was taken out of the game.

If Sacrifice's effect is a proc, this weapon isn't all that great. The cleric would probably be beating up tanks to regain mana, LOL!

doesnt matter.. hehe. both clerics in the Alliance who got thier Sacrifices now have both the Water Sprinkler and this. Very coolio. Too bad clerics cant dual weild.

Ouch...wasn't this the main reason Manastone was taken out of the game. Think about it...Cleric with this and donal BP..umm...can you say infinite mana?. Bad enof just haveing this item...hit can2 a few times...FULL HEAL BABY..keep can2. Just like mana stone...geting mana from nothing.

Let us look at this in more detail why don't we...

1. Enchanters, BUTT loads of mana regen.
2. Necro's, suck mana from their own health.
3. Shamans, ditto.
4. Mages, mod rods.
5. Wizzies, gathers glowing blue strands of mana.
6. DRUIDS (only other ones till recently who had no mana regen), new spell, Wolf-form with better sow AND clarity.

So why the HELL shouldn't clerics get some kind of mana regen???? Only thing that sucks about this weapon is it is a proc.

You gotta be 60 just to get the dang thing, and it is no drop. Ooooooh, scary, gonna completely tip the game balance with one.

Mod Rods?!?!?
# Jan 19 2001 at 6:43 PM Rating: Decent
WTF? since when were mod rods a form of mana regeneration? No, Magicians are also a caster class with no form of mana regeneration (other than Med), because mod rods cost more to summon than they give back. Mod Rods can be used in one of 2 ways...Mana transfer (at a slightly better ratio than Necros, but at the cost of the recipients health, and time sitting) or mana storage (they are lore so we can summon one, and med back to full, and then use it when we are OOM for one last spell).

Sorry I rant here completely off the subject. Grats to any clerics who get this weapon, and I hope it is right click rather than proc. As for the shamen, for the same reason that I don't care that the cleric epic has a better effect/stats and is easier to get than mine, you shouldn't complain about a cleric getting a spell that gives them more mana to save your butt when it is nessacary.

just my 2cp

Mod rods also use more mana to cast from a mage than they give back.

might even be better than the FA quest one. Cannabilize II gives us clerics a new spell. And the effect is a proc if it says random i beleive. This weapon is awesome.

You guys should have read that a long time ago. Random, it SAYS the type of effect it is, means that it procs during battle. I guess I'm not too positive about it so don't flame me, its just rude.
