The Plane of Growth no drop Enchanter stuff has teh same stats as the Thurg quest gear

Just wanted to note here that faction can be an issue if you're new to the zone or killing the wrong things nearby. When I approached Brita to inquire about the gloves, she started to tell me how she could make these lovely things for an enchanter, but when I asked the question, "What gloves?" She politely told me "nevermind."
I was very surprised by this, and conned her immediately - I was "warmly" but that's not enough, so a few guildies came to hang out in GD with me while we killed wolves & giants for a few hours. Probably took 3-ish hrs. altogether.
Once I conned "kindly" to Brita, the gloves were mine. /Cheer

I have a pair of these fine gloves :) Ohhh and they are uber gloves, bah to whoever said they want 9cha on these, these are uber the way it is. 9int 35 mana gloves is all i can say.
Ohhhh and if you are looking for the torn enchanted silk gloves they are a random drop in kael. I say random because i have seen a quest item drop off a green mob, but if you are after thurgadin quest items head to behind the arena at kael and just keep clearing it over and over, seems to be more quest armor drops here than anywhere else, but i will say that i have not been in any deeper than the first lot of zeks which i have not seen drop anything but heads for the ranger PoG quest. As for the gems they seem to drop in a few places, think i saw one drop in DN or was it velks, cannot remember anymore but i got my gems from animated suits of armors in WL, they seem to drop all the crushed gems from my experiance.
Good luck and remember it is not how much fun you have leveling but how fast you level :P

My int is 300+ i need the charisma... the mana is nice though right now if an item had 255int right on it it would be of no use to me. but 35 mana i can use.

I noticed the Velious Chanter quest gloves require the same items (just different person to turn them in to) but have different stats.

actually, they require diffrent base items. thurgadin quests drop in kael. kael quests drop in ToV off CoV aligned mobs. SS quests drop in ToV off the perma-kos mobs that guard PoM.
actually, SS quest mobs are dropped in the halls of testing. to get to pom thats north wing, whereas HoT is east. ;)

Well, a point to note is that you need HIGH Kael faction to do the Kael quests. This is a bit difficult to get...so the prize is a bit better. The skyshrine gloves should be about the same / compairable to the Kael gloves.

Personally I would love to get these gloves as is with the CHA - I have no problem getting my CHA up to 200 right now, and would love to be able to bump my AC up instead - fewer hits, fewer interruptions.

if your looking for HP/Mana, i would probably recommend taking a look at the orb of the infanite void, and also the heiro cloak..both offer 75 hps/mana, and also ac/int/cha/sta/agi on the cloak, and ac/int on the orb.
both only require one group to do, the heiro cloak one 54+ requiring one rogue and ideally a lvl 60 puller of some sort to level pull the crypt in seb. the orb requires a very tallented group of 55+ to do for one group, but it is possible.

Very nice gloves. I would have prefered to exchange the +9 agi for +9 chr. :) Then again, that might actually make them too perfect
