Were damage caps changed in recent years? My 23 sk eruidte with a modest STR of 120 can hit for 60-79 with this thing often.
bought one in the Bazaar for 800pp... not bad if I say so myself... I might like this new bazaar thing =)

this thing rocks i have one on my lvl 2SK ogre and i hit from 20 to 40 with it and YES it looks like a shovel and when u swing it it looks like u digging Up the ground :P

Hit for 40 at lvl2?! The word liar comes to mind. Although, I havent played a new toon in quite awhile, did they remove damage caps for 10 and 20??

if your weapon's base damage is more than the damage cap, it'll hit for the base damage, but that's all it'll hit for. for a 30+ character, this'll hit for 60 or so, but for a sub-10 char it'll only do 28-30 or so damage.
what lvl does this beast proc?
Lucy says Level 30 for the Effect.
Have one on the Innoruuk server, looks sweet as a shovel, and does a good deal of dmg, proc normally does a 58-60dd plus roots the undead mob in question, overall, nice weapon, and does bring in the comments as you smack a mob around with a shovel.

I have one of these(obvious gift), and Just wanted to let those curious know.
Yes it does look like a shovel when carried.
I've had it for two weeks and I've already gotten
some great compliments or questions about it.
So it not only kicks butt as a wpn, but also as a conversational piece as well.

Don't tell me this looks like a shovel when held.. that'd be so funny/cool.
The Proc is a Undead only Root, has Dmg to it but i cant remeber how much

As far as i can remember, the dmg on the undead root from Hungry Earth is low 40s
