Had one drop from 'a diligent silkweaver' tonight in 'Building the Disguise' (there is only 1 version; no Hard mode option).
I got it on my 18th task/clearing of the zone.

The rarity for this item is listed as 'Common'. That should probably be changed to whatever the rarest rating you have is.

Last thing, there seems to be some confusion about where it drops. It only drops in the task Building the Disguise. Maybe the technical name of the instance zone itself is 'Stoneroot Falls: A Rogue's Trust' - which is a version of Stoneroot Falls but it does not drop from the task of the same name (A Rogue's Trust); it only drops in 'Building the Disguise' as an ultra rare drop from trash mobs within the instance.

The picture should be removed in my opinion.
Random drop for us came from "a drachind", in the front area, outside the city gates. No one had an alt high enough to use it, when trying to /taskadd to a low-level alt, received the msg of being too low, and needed to be within (15) levels to get in the mission. Used to be only 10 lvl diff iirc. My baby monkie cried for being too little to loot this for his collection :P
As of Jan 2007, the picture shown is wrong-- but the decription is correct. It is MNK, ENC, NEC, MAG, WIZ useable; not All/All.

What is the minimum level that a toon can get into a 68.3 mission? I want to get this for my 55 monk and was gonna see about getting him in to do one and wanted to know what level I would need to be to start trying.

Anyone know if this is still dropping, I've been 3 boxing this mission for a couple weeks and haven't seen anything drop.

i have seen this drop on AB but since they patched the DoD items i havent seen any nice drops from trash mobs ;o(

I had it drop off Witheran last night after about 6 mornal missions. I did not ever see an option for hard. The stats have changed, no longer 20 to all resists.

Forgive me for complaining, but my power just came back on after 9 days without due to a hurricane, and this nerf is not news I wanted to see. I had been camping this thing for weeks prior to the hurricane, and only wanted the power restored after so I could continue to camp the robe. Seeing that I can no longer use is a needle in the balloon I had been inflating for the past month.
Why can't I be a robed dark elf druid without sacrificing the vital stat slot that I do using Shainai's Nightie? Well I will not give in to the generic class image that SOE prescribes and will continue to use my Nightie until I find a better robe that a wood elf druid can equip. If anyone knows of one, please let me know. In the mean time I will only assume, although falsely I am sure, that the prenerf version will be made attainable in some other way so I may keep my hope and interest in EQ. Sorry again for the whining.

I wanted the Guardian Robe! When working on my Giant faction I would camp the pool room guardians for weeks and never saw one. I still want one, but I am quite resigned to the fact that after Skyshrine was shuffled around (way too many mobs around, and not a guardian flappy to be seen) that all Guardian armor has been removed from the Shrine.

Was changed in today's patch to monk/wiz/nec/enc/mag and race: hum/eru/iks/hie/def/gnm/frg
My 70 BST was wearing this until today. Sux that he can't anymore. In one unheralded and undocumented decision, SoE took 150 hps away from my character and a plethora of stats and saves, FT-5 and 15 regen.
Go figure, monks can keep wearing it but BSTs get to throw it in the scrap heap.

I'm a HIE CLR and shows as robe for me. I assume if you have a robe graphic for your race - it will show as a robe. Has flying collar and open hole slit on back/bottom of robe. Looks cool to me because first robe i ever owned ;-)
I heard it dropped off spiders only, so the first 3 times i did this mission i checked every spider. However, when i won it, it dropped off a witheran. So, but sure to check all mob corpses, because after we got the drop off first witheran for first 3 missions, no one checked any of the rotting corpses. Random drop off any trash mob in mission.
Not sure about the hard mission only note - as i never started any of the missions. I've done it 5 times and seen it drop once tho.

I am hoping hard setting just means level 70, as I was unaware that you could specify a difficulty setting for these missions. Please tell me if I am mistaken, so I don't waste too much time doing the default assigned missions hoping to see a robe drop.
I will try to discover the answer myself and post it here, but if anyone has confirmation of drops in a "regular" mission I would greatly appreciate it.
Equally as valuable to me would be information regarding the characters in the group you attained this with. i.e. 10k? 12k? 14k? tank, etc.

We had one drop of a random spider on mission 3, It rotted. It is no-drop
Just curious as to how many have seen this drop? Really trying to get a grasp on the randomity... Also I see the picture does not show it being No Drop, seeking enlightenment there as well. I appreciate any help.

Just a guess but I think that pic may have been sent by someone on Firiona Vie server lots of no drop things everywhere else are droppable on FV.

Fire and Fury is a premier guild on FV. The robe is infact tradeable there, but unlikely on other servers.
