Ambleshift's Anfractuous Album
How dare Scridite try and take credit! He knows very well that he would never have solved the problem of how to synchromesh the differential divergences within the amalgamating cavity. While I am totally ready to admit
| that his reader is an important part of the amalgamator, he would have died of being poked in the eye by his devices, he just makes it too complicated.
I mean the amalgamator only needs my display device, and gearbox, along with Scrindite's gearbox and mechanoinstruction reader.

It will also need a frame, cover and gearbox invented by Poxysmit along with a power belt that Epicthieck designed. Use a few screws to hold it together and a large mana battery to charge it. The hard part is meshing it all together.
Scrindite also complained that the display device did
| not give enough information, but I think that he just likes complexity for complexity's sake. The display device is simple, really. It is just a few parts. Make one of my display plates made from a high quality steel plate with some powdered glowing rock in a forge. Lubricate it with vegetable

oil while you use your file to shape it properly. Attach a glowgem to a pinion gear and one of the size AAA clockwork shafts, and put it inside one of Poxysmit's gearbox casings. Take a red, blue, green and white indicator and put them in their appropriate spots on the display panel. Be sure to align the
| glowgem so that the vertex angles of the facets align with the indicator socket pass-through slots. Attach the display panel to the top of the gearbox with a few mechanical gnome bolts.
I admit that the gearbox is a bit complex, but anyone who has passed their rudimentary exam in the

mechanics of motion and multiplication should be able to figure it out with no difficulty. Mount a normal gear, and a mechanical gnome gear on a normal metal shaft, and then mount another gear and a clockwork gear from one of our smaller clockworks on a size A clockwork shaft. Mount both of these inside
| one of Poxysmit's Gearbox casings and tension a mechanical clockwork gnome spring to 2.35 frips. Cover the box with one of Poxysmit's gearbox tops and secure it with some screws.
More research will be needed to solve the problem of the reliability of the amalgamator. Though it has

never damaged one of the stones put in it, it can only be used once as all the parts within it are damaged beyond use when it is done.
