Noticed a small debate in bazaar when someone tried to sell a fully evolved "An Ancient Quickworm" for 75k and someone pointed out it isn't evolving item because it lacked the level. I checked closely and indeed there seems to be 2 versions of An Ancientr Quickworm:

I extracted the ID numbers from these 2 versions. The top row of the number came from the ring (pictured left) with displayed "Evolving: Level 5/5 0%" and has 104205 before the ID number while other ring were all zero before the ID number and didn't have level displayed at all. I wonder if the extra number were the XP gained to level up? And where did the non evolving version drop???

I just saw the lower version of this in bazaar on Povar. Some guy was selling for 50k and was at stage 3/5 (an eldar quickworm). Think 50k for this isn't that bad considering final is 36% haste and +3 regen. Not sure if I would use on my 71+ characters but defently on a 65.

Anyone selling for more than 100k is outta there mind (imo).

Shortly after DoDh came out, I (along with the rest of my server) was caught up in the giddy rush to acquire these "evolving" items; at the time, they seemed really nice for the prices people were asking.

I picked up this Ring (completely un-Evolved) for around 130k, and feverishly spent the next 3-4 months pouring XP into it to get it to the final level. Only to find out that, when I did, it became Attuneable. Thank God I noticed before I died at some point and looted/re-equipped it. I think I was finally able to get rid of it for 90k or so.

With all the items/weapons out there available from group missions and the like, Evolving items are just not worth it. The only one that's still worth anything is the Arcstone cloak (which I still wear).

If you're looking for a Ring with Haste on it, don't waste the time / money / XP on this PoS; you can get a Ring of Living Malachite (drops from the "Calling Emoush" event for Tier 1 DoN progression) for little enough effort, and it requires ZERO evolving.

Save your XP for levels or AAs, don't waste it on items you'll have out-grown by the time you max them out.
I had this the whole summer

Any idea what particular mob drops this in its original form? I was told in Stoneroot Falls, but unsure of the mob's name.
