PS. On sale for 32608pp atm on Povar. Doubt it's worth that, but it is obscure enough that someone might buy it thinking it's proc is better than it is.

This weapon is a beautiful work of art for any Shadowknight. As a two-hander its delay & weight make it ideal for main tanking and assisting, as well as soloing well into your AA levels. The spell Soul Bond is a DoT Life Tap which starts proc at 50. Its beauty comes from the fact that you GET LIFE BACK over time which in turn makes it easy on the healer, which is nothing to be looked down upon, in fact I think that it makes this weapon even more valuable because we all know the less down time the better. I have no clue why someone would complain what this weapon SHOULD have. Its what it DOES have that matters.

This would be a far more attractive weapon if the proc was a DD life tap, like Siphon (80pnt) and not over time. Soul Bond is incremental, something like 5pnt, 10pnt, 15pnt, 20pnt, 25pnt, 30pnt but when you proc again it resets to 5pnts again, this seems a bit of a waste, especially as with a decent dex and a bit of haste this procs a lot (it's by no means a slow weapon) so you end up wasting a lot of procs as one immediately follows another. The plus side to it is that you will keep gaining the health from a proc after a mob has died.
Have seen these on Bristlebane for 8 or 9k recently, way over priced, considering this procs at level 50 there are far better 2hders you can get for that price and for under 50 then look at some of the Velium 2hders for better dam/del ratio. 2-3k is more realistic.
SK's get to use a 2hb called Soul Binder with the same effect. Procs at 45 but lesser ratio, 24/36 I believe.

A good point your missing is to switch weapons with bandolier after this procs to another awsom (insert weapon of choice here).

If ure gonna pay over 3k for it i would go for the black acry halberd......i hit for 150-200 easily with it and has a 45pt lifetrap which procs pretty often

I traded my Heavy Velium War Lance for this, the Runed Frost Blade, The Sarnak Battle Shield, and 1k. Considering the Lance is worth 2.5k-4k, I got a very good deal out of it. Selling it on the Tarew Marr Server for 5k, look for a Paladin Named Excitation.

If only this weapon a paladin could use, id have a sword with the same name as me, makes me think about legends. O well, we cant all weild the coolest sword of all time

Picked up one of these of a vendor in Thurg for 550pp give or take. Guess someone has way too much money on their hands if they're selling this to vendors... Doubt that the 11k price listed is acurate, so can anyone give me an idea what this blade is really worth? Would like to maybe trade it for a jade mace, as I need to keep agro as a warrior, but don't wanna get laughed at if its not worth too much =). Oh, just to confirm it will not proc as of lvl 46.

I am using this blade currently, at 26/35 I am using a FBSS with this which brings del down to approx 30, so i am using a 26/30 weapon. Its previous owner (Cabiliz) told me that having this weapon is similar to having a fungi cuase it procs so often and heals you.

this item procs at level 50.according to my sources,which may or may not be correct,Sould Bond is a 260(approx) Lifetap over time.I was givin this information by someone who has the blade,although it is not their main weapon.

go for a Culler from hate second floor, my avg hit is for 130 crits for 200+ had a few for 350+ and a crip blow for 598 using my disc..this is with a self buffed str of 243 on a barb warrior lvl 56...

The Proc is, as near as I can tell, a 90-110 point lifetap over time. The amount of time it taps is quite short - about 6 ticks, but a nice bonus is that even if the MoB you have tapped dies, it will continue to lifetap for the duration of that Proc.
I thoroughly enjoy this weapon, and with a 118 Dex, it Procs 2+ times a fight.

i have a Soul Binder with same effect,it last over 10 ticks,my soul binder went off at 45 for 9points a tick,at 50th it is 15points a tick and it still going up per lvl i heard it reaches close to 200 over 10 ticks

I have this weapon, and I love it, cost me 30k worth of stuff.
Toooo many people come and inspect asking me what it is.
Damage is great, double attacks for 120s with 194str and less stamina reduction.
The looks, phroa, identical to Noctivigant blade, but bigger on me (barbarian)
The effect is good around 100hp lifetap-over-time.
I can only find one bad thing, other than price, is the lack of taunt from 1hs, but thats the same with all Warriors using 2hs so im nto to grumble.
The crits are good but not as big as the truncheon of doom can do or felhammer, but the overall dmg p/sec is nice.
You will find it hard to get a better 2hs, maybe some of the new Vellious swords will.
