Depths of Darkhollow
A great place to get meat is the pool right under the waterfall as soon as you zone-in to Undershore from Corathus Creep. It is the same pool where The Deep Crawler spawns (around LOC: NEG 1350, NEG 750). About five or six 'a basilisk' congregate here, and they drop meat all the time, some times two pieces! Unfortunately, you have a wait like 20 min for a respawn, which is a bummer.
In the meantime, you can work on your Table Flipping Achievement on the near by mushrooms that surround the Freemind Cipher. There are five mushrooms, and they respawn every 40 seconds. Happy Hunting !
