The Dragonleg Breechs don't look that bad when your wearing an Engraved Royal Velium BP, matches quite well. And then you get the Dragonspine Vambraces and the Dragon Hero Bracer, and you won't look that bad, at least if your a Ranger and can wear all that. I topped it off with an Ice Forged helmet, you can look good and have great stats too. I'm sure It will all get miss matched once I start getting planes armor, but until then I almost resemble a bard hehe.
On my Half-elf ranger they are a teal-blue. This looks bloody oawful with silver (barbed mail) chest, brown helm and shoulders and either grey or green (barbed dragonhide, Thorny Vine) boots. I look like a clown :(
On my half elf ranger the peerless version of these are teal blue chain as well. Do not fret too much though -- we rangers have to get over fashionablity because the drop rates and combinations of equipment often give us the rainbow effect. Currently I am sporting Teal legs, green feet Drak red chest, dark green arms, a soft red set of bracers, and yellow hands.
The dragon hide armours that are visable (Arms, Legs, Feet, and chest) when put together as a set, look very sharp though :-). Consider getting the other items and go for the teal green fashion statement -- you will be a hit at the next guild social function:-) -- Upgrades in those colors could include the Shissar BP (about 10k on our server) which gives a bit lighter shade of green.
On a side note, I wish that there was some means of coloring our equipment -- kinda like the old clothing dye tubs in Ultima Online. But, then soon -- I fear that there would be a thousand "all dressed in black rogues," etc ...
We just have to learn how to deal with this fashion nightmare that Verrant has given us. Try to wear a purse that matches your belt and shoes is all I can offer :-)
But ... what "texture" are they? Plate? Chain? I've gone through dozens of post going on about the ugly color of these things, but no one says whether they look like chain or plate.
Help a brotha out.

Howdy, I'm currently wearing the peerless dragonleg breeches, which, at this time there is no info on allakhazam about. AC is 24 dex + 11 sta + 7. As I imagine the matchless is 25 AC + 12 dex + 8 sta. I am looking for any pricing info anyone may have right now anyone may have on these. Also, info on where they drop, I have no idea. I traded a Fungi for them, these are much less common nowadays, and I may be able to pick up another fungi some other time, when I want to solo again. So price wise for the HEAVY breeches ( I actually traded fungi + 2 K ) so 27 K for peerless, i imagine HEAVY could be bought 20 to 25 K. Sorry I have no more info. All well thought out responses aprreciated. " If you post a negative response, doesn't that make you a Flamer ? ".
Usually its the newbs that wish they were high lvl that rip eachother's heads off... by the time your high lvl (enough to get the items over which the arguments are held) you come to realize that the arguments are moot. (for the complete rant, see my post on heavy dragonhide breastplate (response to last post on bottom... not that anyone cares /shrug). My opinion is that these are good for all of the classes that can use them, some more than others, depending on the situation (i've seen 56 clerics with generally considered 'good' equipment, max wis etc, quite content wearing thses so yea, everyone can benefit.)
I mean geeze. This little thread is discussion a fake item in a fake world. But that's enough for some of you to start fighting. I just don't understand why people even waste their time to attack each other in the ITEM POSTS.
Good grief people. Step back and take a look at yourselves.

I submitted this item, was there when it dropped, and currently wear them. So I can be fairly sure they drop in Western Wastes off of a dragon named Amcilla.
You have NO idea about why this guy posted it. Maybe it was put in between when he posted and when you posted. Maybe he just missed it. Maybe he's blind and someone else was reading the post to him, but forgot to mention where it dropped and he responded like this. Shut up and quit being a bad person.
