Does anyone have an idea of how much this rapier would cost? I have it..looks like a velium weapon =) that pearl cloudy look. I say it has to be atleast 50pp. I got it as part of a trade so I never got a PC on it. This weapon is quite rare in auctions though. The stats and the low delay makes it a great weapon to work on your piercing

1) frank the pirate in ro (or whatever his name is ) is not a mob intended to be killed. He is, i understand, around level 30 con wise, but has an Insane regen amongst other problems. I d say the guy that made reference to a group of lvl 40s is probably closest to the mark on this. 2) dorn the DE..all dark elfs, Especially the dragoons are undercons...to Casters. They have an inate High MR but are reletively easy for melee types. 3) the root of this post is regarding the gnomish pirate rapier, the pirates it is intending to refer to are the ones in iceclad near the docks. friendly enough little fellows and a good safe haven for the good races at least, not sure about others, but they will not protect u from cougars , so maybe they should die anyhow. But most likely they are more difficult than their level would indicate, and since it is one of the only safe spots around there, i think i will stay on their good side for a while yet....they can die for my pleasure later.
Try the guards in the Paineel Newbie garden. Conned green to my 25 Shaman. Resisted everything I threw, then double hit for up to 150...EVERY ATTACK ROUND.
heh, ya, they con green at 5 but really are normal leveled guards. VI lowered them so they wouldn't aggro after they opened up the Warrens. >=) Hope this helps you, cause they surprised me when i was lvl 16 and got quaded by them even with a level 60 healing me and watching me die in i'd say 15 seconds.
Uh ya. Dorn B'Dynn. He may be low level, but pound for pound he is the toughest kill per level in the game. He is like lvl 13-16? and at 25 he still resisted root 95% of the time.

Was about lvl 30 or 35 at the time and spoted Dorn on track. Remembering how he plastered my 11 warrior all over N Ro earlier that day I figued revenge was in order. Wolf form, snare, dot, spend 1/3 to half my mana getting ensnare to stick, medded and doted til it broke, then nuked him til he started to run. From there on it was "Taste my mace you Tier'Dal SOB!!"
A min or so later, Dorn eats sand and I walk off with a Dragoon Dirk and a grin, woo-hoo!!
