Good Luck Buying One
# Jan 02 2003 at 4:59 PM Rating: Decent
I been holding out buying an upgrade on one of my wrist because I never seen a matchless for sale. Even peerless is quite rare, but usually worked is for sale, this stuff looks blueish/green on an iksar, nice look.
For non-hybrid melees

Go Silver Chitin Bracer or Bracer of Benevolence; better stats for your class :o

# Jan 29 2001 at 11:23 AM Rating: Default
High AC, Bards like that.
8 cha! Bards like that too.
12 wis, ive heard reports bards mana is based on wis and int. If its wis all the better =)

Best bard bracer most bards could hope for.
# Jul 04 2002 at 10:41 PM Rating: Good
Uhhh, bard mana is based on int... not the higher of int or wis. Int only. Why do you think so many int caster items bards get to use?

Well looks like Iksar finaly get some decent AC items to use its a good change. As for the people complaining about the wisdom it dose help trade skill some and who wouldnt want a AC 15 Bracer on a mele.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 05 2001 at 9:16 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) forum! Where is the information? What mob, where (specifically), what level is mob, or is it a quest item?
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Oh ya 12 Wis for an SK to bad we use int .. should add the druids instead of SKs
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 9:17 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) umm...15ac on a bracer smart-guy. plus, if you dont want it then dont wear it! unless you are a bard (for the CHA) or a cleric, shaman, ranger, or paladin (for the WIS) then these bracers are worthless to you (except for the AC).
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 04 2001 at 8:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) you disagreed with him, then agreed with him... hmmm. personally, i think, other than the AC, this is useless for an SK, they dont need either stat, CHA or WIS
RE: Oh ya 12 Wis for an SK
# Apr 18 2001 at 6:43 PM Rating: Default
All I have to say is any SK with any intelligence would not wear this item, we all know that they're fear spells are much more effective with a neg or lower cha, I don't see many SK's wearing this item.

However for my Shaman this would rock, AC/WIS/CHA ownage... As far as druids go, lvl 42 druid 200+ wis and not buying a single item. Don't tell me that you need more wis items it's just not true. Play your class, and don't complain about items the other classes get. The "Other Classes" are keeping your butts alive so... if they happen to get a nice "uber" item, I'm all for them having it, I'll be alive just that much longer. Work with what's given to your class and stop complaining.
RE: Oh ya 12 Wis for an SK

AC rules for any tank. =)
RE: Oh ya 12 Wis for an SK
# Apr 01 2001 at 11:29 PM Rating: Decent
AC might rule for a tank, but any party that can have access to this kind of item is going to have some kind of wis caster that can use it best, no warrior, bard, sk, or rogue will ever touch this thing.

By the time you can get this I hope your wis is over 200 any
# Jan 13 2001 at 11:30 AM Rating: Default
level 50+ zone.. your wis should be well over 200 by then (I hope)
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 26 2001 at 8:58 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Im a 44 druid with 200 wis and none in chest, waist or feet slot. This game is getting silly with these high wis items. How much do people need? soon every twink will have 200 wis. My druid can kite 6 blue drolvargs at once now with no twinked items. The point is that by the time any druid is even in this zone they should be at 200 wis so then what? stockpile AC just in case something actually touches us?
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 11 2001 at 4:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Druids get to TP and have many guilds they can enter so as a Shaman who only has one guild in the ENTIRE world I don't feel to bad for them.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 04 2001 at 1:48 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Hey Hey Now Common Druids Cry bout they cant wear it but what can u wear druid only ALOT so Stop Crying !!!
Most stuff for Wiscasters is only for SHM and CLR!
# Jan 04 2001 at 4:21 AM Rating: Default
there is by far much more stuff that can be worn only by shamans and clerics but not by druids.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 8:06 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Someone just have to get screwed no matter what they are doing..boohoo. grow up and deal with it.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:28 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Verant Hates Druids
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:23 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) they should ***** druid more often like this, just look at what you druids got out there, you got EVERYTHING, so stop ******** about getting ***** you are NOT.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:35 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yup... druids get it all baby! weakest and hardest to come by quest armor. smallest choice in weapons, smallest options for items that give mana, no skills past 20th level, meele like a wizard.. .and people think druids got it all cuz they can GG..... sheesh
RE: And druids get screwed! NT
# Feb 20 2001 at 8:17 PM Rating: Default
small choice in weapons because druids over 20 shouldnt be using them any more, they are better off getting wis stuff
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:29 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) and now that we have heard from someone who dosn't play a druid.....
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 5:41 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i agree this should be NO DROP and druids should be included.. coz if i ever see a lvl 2 cleric with this ill puke
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 04 2001 at 3:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) YES please god verant make this nodrop!!!! damn twinks everywhere!! making it druid wearble is the lesser of two evils in this case
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 06 2001 at 6:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I agree! Make it no drop! Then we'll have lvl 5 newbies running around with it! Its bad enough when I see a lvl 6 Necro fully twinked with lvl 50 stuff. They need to learn to EARN their stuff! I worked my *** off for the stuff that I got, and I had to wait until lvl 50 to get it myself. Its just not right!
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 16 2001 at 4:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) they worked for it too dumbass, did you think it fell out of the sky and landed on their char? HELL NO! they have level 50+ characters who go out and EARN this stuff too. please think before you post newbie
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 20 2001 at 12:13 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i couldn't agree more.
Twinks earned it too...
# Jan 08 2001 at 8:48 AM Rating: Default
Well, someone had to camp it to give it a lv 5 cleric, dont you think?

Most wont give such a Item to a Newbie, so its usual a experienced player behind the character.

Whatever, looks like this would be a good item for Ebay maniacs

#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 09 2001 at 1:52 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Look, every twink that runs around is usually a gimp char that someone with a really high level charactor has made to have fun with. If they want to go camp a Mob to get a high Lvl item for their new char, More power to them. You should not belittle them for it. They worked just as hard as you to get their main char up to a point it COULD do that. So shut up about it.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 26 2001 at 8:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yes, caught someone dropping this on ground for their twink, what no see invis you dumbass- your loss my gain.
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 16 2001 at 4:56 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) no you didnt liar. anyone who is high enough level to get this isnt that dumb... gawd i hate annoying newbies who lie about this ****
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 8:08 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yup, as usual, VI makes a non-druid, SERIOUSLY uber +wis item, that is no drop, that druids cannot wear and blows druid plane gear out of the water..... *sigh*.... perhaps all druids should boycott by refusing to GG until this matter is addressed? hmmmm..... nah.. that would just make wizards all the richer ;)
# Jan 03 2001 at 12:42 AM Rating: Default
These really are matchless aren't they? Good thing druids can't use them. Wouldn't want the only other character that depends on WIS to get to use them.
RE: Wow
# Jan 03 2001 at 3:48 AM Rating: Default
I know it sucks for Druids, but look at the other classes. You don't need an icon to see it is chain armour.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 4:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) awww poor druid picked the wrong class, can't get over the fact that they don't get ALL the good stuff. WAA WAA WAA we can only port all over the place, cast sow, Kite damn near anything we want to, buzz through the first 40 levels with haveing to even think about looking for a group, we are so abused.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 03 2001 at 9:03 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Shut up you troll. the point being every single item that is super wisdom usually goes to clerics, belt of the cenobite comes to mind. It's all about stats. when you break into 50th the kiting days are almost over. by 55 you can hang it up. at this point it becomes a requirement to have your wis maxed out in as few slots as possible because now all of a sudden you need armor class, and hit points. we're not asking for a bazooka, just some decent wis armor. our planar armor can be whipped by grabbing 3 gems and turning them into a dwarf of all people. and then some little minded people can only say...
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 09 2001 at 6:05 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The super wis items go to clerics because without lots of mana a cleric is nada. Also it didn't sound to me like he was complaining about his class. It sounded like he was complaining about druids and their excessive whining. Kite Cazic Thule. Ya right. Check this guy out. He thinks he should be able to kite a god. Have you even considered that most classes can not solo up to 50th lvl, let alone 55. Most classes are hanging up their soloing hats at about 45th. All I can say is Boo Hoo. Lets all cry for the poor abused druids.

Bracers have historicly been the best stat pieces of an armor. A pair of any class armor bracers will beat out a class armor breastplate generaly speaking.
# Jan 03 2001 at 6:09 AM Rating: Decent
Take a look at the Totemic the BRacers are CRAP, but then again the BP is not that great either (unless you are going after AC and not WIS)...the Rune Etched stuff from HAte on the other hand well the bracers are nice but I would trade my bracer for the BP anyday (I have both and I know they are No-Drop)...

Thats because there are 2 of them. Most people mix and match bracers anyways.
