Imagine chain summoning with buffed pet? with the robe and pants is a pretty strong pet for the same mana, you can solo a lot better with them!!!. These pants rule!.

Bleh :P

Besides that the saves are hardly worth it.
I'll keep wearing my Loam Encrusted ")
#Anonymous, Posted: Feb 06 2001 at 12:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Listen guys, the reason Midnight feels the urge to spash their guild name all over the pic is because this is the one chance that they get to advertise any achivment that they have accomplished (i think i spelled that wrong). Their guild is so sofy and weak, they love a chance to make theri name sound large and strong. I don't blame them for tring to deceive (i think i spelled that wrong too) us. Just live with it and hope that they grow up.
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 04 2001 at 4:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) oh STFU, some of us appriciate these postings. I for one love No drop stuff, for i play on rallos. Go crawl back up your mother diseased womb and go find something else to gripe about SOMEPLACE ELSE!
awesome legs
# Jan 06 2001 at 10:02 AM Rating: Default
these stats are nice, what else u gonna wear at level 50? I wear apothic kilt atm and i would change to this in a second, and the effect rocks, you know what other item has burnout 3 effect for mages? Robe in VP. And the saves rock. Not like there are any nice legs for casters anyway. Everyone who is in PoG or be able to get it easily. And having burnout 3 effect is one less spell i have to mem.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 01 2001 at 4:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) HEY why don't you lighten up on the lame Ads for your guild. We don't care and I'm sick of seeing your useless screenshot when we're trying to look at the item. We can read it if it's in the corner you don't have to blast it in our faces. Grow up and lose the loser ads.

It's ok to stick your name on something you've submitted, but please make it so the rest of us can read the stats on the item.

:) lol... I was thinking the same thing... splashing your (guild)name like that is just a bit overboard.

Not to mention stupid, I'm more impressed by a guild who can give a smaller mention say maybe in corner of pic than one that feels the need to splash it over the entire pic. Very confusing.

I have no doubt that they are a great guild to get these pants, but cmon guys...
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 31 2000 at 1:09 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I agree with the previous posts.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 31 2000 at 5:34 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Sumbit your own pictures then. Be glad they informed you, and get over it.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 02 2001 at 1:56 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is not surprising. Midnight is a bunch of twits....
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 01 2001 at 4:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) They Didn't inform of us of anything except their guild name. Unless you want to stare madly trying to figure out what the rest of the pic says
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 31 2000 at 10:25 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I didn't even look at the pic because it is so obscured, you dolt. I looked at the text stats above it. You must be in the Midnight guild.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 31 2000 at 7:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) thats not the point, jerky. the point is that their guild pic is giant and makes the item text next to impossible to read. ***.
Not for wearing
# Dec 30 2000 at 10:11 AM Rating: Default
There's very little reason to wear this, it's just another item to put in your "clickable effects" bag, along with your Jboots and your reclaim energy item.

# Dec 30 2000 at 7:40 PM Rating: Default
Agreed. Not sure what burnout III does, but it must be something.

Burnout III adds str, ac, and a haste effect on mage pets. must have when soloing.

The burnout series of mage spells are buffs that only work on their pets.

Sheesh. Crummy stats for planes gear
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 30 2000 at 8:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Uhm, no offense but YOU ,ust be a weenie. These are one of 2 +int items a mage can wear in legs slot. Im grateful we finally have more +int for legs. People like you need to quit whining about the loot in the game. if you dont like it, no one is forcing you to pay $9.95us to play EQ. Have a nice day =)

I'm constantly hearing people say "such and such" gets the shaft. Every class has it's downfall items and it's great items. Look at the posts for all items. Magi get the shaft? compare the magi gloves to the shaman gloves. WOW big big difference. The only people I would say actually get shafted are:

1. Iksar Shaman- No plate = no JB armor... which means they can't get a JBB (a very big plus to any high level shaman that solo's non cold resistant creatures.

2. Wizard- Sure they have high damage spells. But on any decent mob they fry em up fast and sit for 10 minutes medding and doing nothing else. Compared to a mage, the mage puts out more damage with their spells and pet combo. Combine this with the fact that if in a dungeon the wizard has no pet to tank for them so they must rely on roots (yeah right) and stuns to keep the mob at bay.

As far as armor goes, the iksar shaman is the only people that truly have gotten shafted at all. All other classes just have downfall items and beneficial items mixed in with one another.

except for the Burnout3 effect, the int isnt that great. granted there arent many int leg items but 2int certainly isnt worth wearing for what someone could get at that level (loam pants, heh). no mana on these either, or hp for that matter other then the stamina. at these are wt 0.5 :)

you guys KIDDING?????? Cardulus Magiblast 55th mage here I got this thing yesterday from the PoG... my frigging god burnout 3 effect rocks :P just click ,wait 10-12 secs(didnt time yet), and free petbuff. I would *hardly* call this weenie loot.
RE: Weenie loot in the plane of growth
# Feb 05 2001 at 11:01 AM Rating: Default
i timed it, about 18secs.
This thing rocks, you think we need int at our lvl? its all about the burnout 3
RE: Weenie loot in the plane of growth
# Jun 14 2002 at 9:34 AM Rating: Default
It rocks? i don't think so. definatly not what i would expect from planar gear. I will say it's not a BAD item because of the burnout3. and I guess that in the high 40's to low 50's it would be nice to save the BO3 mana cost. by level 55 you won't use it anymore. BO4 at level 55 rocks. ac/str/ and 65% pet haste. hehehe jobabner's going to be tearing some stuff up now.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not belittling the item. there aren't many int leg gear items in the game for mages. i would wear it at the moment becaue i have pretty ghetto leg armor (too embarassed to even say what it is /coughwhitescaledleggings)

I'm jsut saying htat it's not very good for planer armor. add another 5 to the int. or another 3 or 4 to each resist. then i would call it worthy of being planar armor.

as far as needing more int? no we don't need more int in 2's and 3's. we need items with 7, 10, 15 int to open up the little slots for the gear we really need. the high end resist gear. Velium BD bracers, Velium Diamond rings, etc etc.

basically if you are able to get better int legs (i belive loam are good ones and easy to get, but i'm not positive on loam stats, i've been lazy with getting gear for myself), if you are below 55, put it in a bag with the rest of your right clicky gear (jboots, earthen boots, whichever of the 14 trillion reclaim energy items you happen to fancy) above 55? don't bother, unless you are like me and have this fallinto your lap and just haven't gotten around to venturing into the hole to get better. hehehe

just my 2 cents, not intended to flame anyone

Yeah as soon as you get Burnout IV this item is pointless. What would be cool if this was a worn effect pet only item!
