If this wep does proc on a lvl1 character in thurgadin can someone go there and buy it i will pay you back send tell to Tevarian.
As a paladin on a relatively tight budget, I'm trying to decide between the Coldain Velium Longsword and the Coldain Velium Scimitar. According to this site, both have the same damage ratio, but the scimitar hits faster but for less damage. However, if this weapon is going to proc immediately, then it would seem a faster weapon would be better since you get the proc more often on the faster weapon. Given the fact that the scimitar is cheaper (107pp for Scimmy vs 141pp for the LS) and will have a better resale value for the druid class especially, I think I'm going to go with the Scimitar.

no, Coldain Velium does NOT drop off mobs, i wish you guys could please think before you post, if you don't KNOW, then stow it, ok?
REGULAR velium weapons, 6/28, proc at lvl 25 drop off mobs.
COLDAIN velium weapons do NOT drop off mobs, ANY mobs, it just DONT.
you can BUY them from a vendor in thurgadin, they are one point better damage (7/28) and, they will proc at level ONE!
actually its EASY if you CAN READ, one is a Velium Long sword, and the other is a COLDAIN
velium long sword. notice the EXTRA word in front, COLDAIN?
Get a grip and get a life, i hope this clears this little mess up, i hate to go off like this but please peeps dont post mis-information here.

Regular Velium weapons are found on mobs in Velious. Selling these back to vendors will only net you what that weapon is worth as FS, upwards to 5pp with normal CHA. The proc starts at 20 I believe.
Coldain Velium weapons are bought from a merchant in Thurgadin. They have the same stats as the regular velium weapons dropped from mobs, but they proc at LEVEL 1 ! They are also quite a bit higher. I bought my Coldain LS for 140pp. I normally sell the regular velium weapons to players for 10pp. So, if you want to twink a newbie melee character, buy a Coldain to be able to use the proc before 20.

Velium Scimy procs at 18th...warhammer is 20th...I think all other velium procs at 25.
One question..does the Coldain Velium long sword look like a normal long sword..or does it look like a frozen long sword?

ok this wep can drop not in vailios but in icewell keep of the dorfs ONLY not sure if it's only the axe as thats all that has droped for us but it's coldain no mater wait if you are lucky to have 4 giant helms of the scots turn them in to the guy neer were the dains thron is and you will get a random pice of coldain vailum wep or there nice looking sheild too but i us helms for the dragon guards for skyshrin yo ucan also get it off a merch in thurg thes are the only ways you can get coldain so fare as i have seen vailuem wep's are what drop off all thoughs tizmaks and other junk in val so hope ya all know how to get ya hands on thins for ya twinks if thats what ya whant it for all thoughs bat and gnoll bashing GL. ;)

ive only seen regular velium weapons drop off of the tizmaks...i would imagine only the higher level stuff (giants, orcs) would drop the coldain as its got better dmg/dly and they proc at lvl 1 whereas the regular velium procs around 30.

I believe that Tizmaks and Orcs do not drop coldian velium weps. Well, they have only dropped velium weps for me. The velium weapon is a little worse I think... maybe I am mistaken and they are the same thing.

I beleive this is a weapon that you are able to buy from Coldian Dwarves in thuragudin. Have to check this out thou
