Getting more common?

I think these have become more common, as I just purchased one in the Bazaar on Torv for 3,200. The next lowest was 4,000. As more and more high levels take to the LDoNs...maybe things like this are starting to see the light a little more?
Group level for this drop

We had this drop on E`ci last night. The adventure group was 56 to 59 and was of normal risk. Can't recall the named mob that dropped it. This is so much better than the acrylia studded cloak I have worn since my druid was lvl 20. =)

Had 3 drop yesterday in Takish-Hiz on one run. My 55 Chanter already had on so my druid ana a friends cleric got one and had one left over. Seems fairly common we've seen 5 now I believe.

You either got very lucky or you did not remember what dropped correctly. This back item is a fairly rare drop in the level 55 Takish adventures. It can drop off of nameds only. I've done 22 level 55 adventures in Tak and I saw this back item ONCE. We probably kill an average of 1-2 nameds per adventure, so this is by no means a common drop.

Personally, I've seen this item drop three times in probably 7-8 Takish ldons while playing my cleric alt. He's 55 now. I won it the third time that it dropped. Also, the first two times it dropped back-to-back.

From my experience, it doesn't seem all that rare. But, it could just be dumb luck.

Just my 2cp.

You can have up to three named per adv has been my experance. Some of the time all the named on the adventure will all drop the same item.

Dropped today off a collapsing frog in Takish. Didn't win the roll though. Beats the hell out of my acrylia studded cloak.
What level was the adventure?
# Sep 12 2003 at 12:34 AM Rating: Good
I see rec. level 50 but what level was the party, and was it a normal or hard adventure?

Nice item... quite a bit better than the Cloak of the Wise I'm wearing, which I thought was pretty decent and was fairly hard to get. If this can be had by mid-50's adventuring, cool!

And, I like seeing stuff with a rec. level low enough that those who are interested in it can wear it. The rec. level still prevents outrageous twinkage, without rendering the item worthless. Cool!

Another note, looks like the item database is going to get upheaved by LDoN :P, what with adventure levels ranging from 20 to 65 in the same zone, and augmentation items.

I started typing and I can't stop...LDoN is also gonna drastically change people's focus. Levelling used to be paramount...now, being great for your level is what matters. I see people going to 100% AA instead of trying to level, and/or trying to get excellent gear instead of trying to level. Anything to improve your chance of success in an adventure. Levelling actually REDUCES your chance because adventures get tougher.

...OK one more thing and then I'll stop I swear.
LDoN adventures are obviously borrowed from Anarchy Online's mission system, but the EQ folks need to copy one other thing they did differently. AO has an adjustable mission difficulty slider, all the way from super-easy to incredibly hard. Maybe super-easy isn't necessary, but there should be more choices than the current two, which I would call "pretty challenging" and "damn hard". At the least, missions with quite moderate risk levels would be greatly welcomed, at least by me. 5 or more difficulty settings would really be best.

We had one of these drop yesterday, our party consisted of a lvl 52 rogue, 55 shm, 56 war, 57 pal, 57 mage and 58 dru, and it was a 'normal'adventure. It dropped from a named treant that was db to a 56.

Unfortunately, to high Elemental and Time equipped people, the two settings currently can translate to "Bored to tears" and "damned easy", from what some are telling me (I don't quite have that kind of gear yet). 2 or 3 more settings for even more difficult adventures would be nice, they really didn't balance it very well and definitely needed more than 2 settings for them. One setting easier than there is now might also help...as a decently raid-equipped person, with decently raid-equipped friends, I've got to say, non raid-equipped people are going to have some difficulty getting a good start in LDoN.

So as not to be completely off-topic, as for this item, looks pretty decent for non-raiders and such. I *would* like to see more items with slots other than type 1 on them, though, haven't seen many that have other type slots.

I've seen groups made up of PoTime equipted players wipe on hard adventures. While they are not as hard as PoTime, they are very comparable to trying to exp gind in the elementals.

Oh, and about having more then just one slot type 1 on your armor, only stuff that drops (or is bought) in LDoN has that. Oh and PoTime loot has a type 8 instead of a type 1.

Mistress Kharyn Says that is translates to "bored to tears and damned easy", for elemental and time equipped people.

Well, the way I see it, this is sonys way of catering to the NON select few that will ever see those zones....even if the loot is kind of low end.....considering that when they released PoP is was to cater to the high end people who had uber chars to begin with and were turning their attention elsewhere.

Now that the lower and mid level (20-55) were getting so utterly frustrated seeing ungodly priced 'tradable' items coming from pop, and then getting utterly depressed seeing equipment that they as 'casual gamers' will never get to see being flaunted by the "mommy and daddys little rich kids", and the "I will have no life whatsoever, and exist solely to spend 12-20 hours a day in the game" people would flaunt.....I think this is a way to keep those people now too.....

What do I know. I'm a warrior. Point me at it, and click me to kill it.

The raid level encounters will not bore an elemental or time capable guild. Entrance yard trash mittigated slow and hit in the 1k plus range. Whiped hard, whiped fast. Be afraid people, be very afraid.
