Dropped off of Serene Forest Spirit and a Spirit Flux Wolf tonite during our guild's PoG raid. I think it is a random drop off of most of the standard mobs in PoG.

Saw this on a gnome warrior. It looks awesome, has little gears all over it

Just the other day i failed to get picked for a Hate raid so one of my Guildies invited me to PoG Raid... Had a great time and then BOOM! One of these puppies droped! There were alot of SHD's CLR's and BRD's there that would have loved this piece but defered from the random because the stats were pure melee class. I actually roled the 2nd highest number but the high roller deferd to me because he is an old group bud and wears an Indo BP.... This Piece of armor matches real well with Indo gear*i have all pieces but BP and Helm* and is an awesome upgrade from a treeweave!
Oh and about the Barbed ringmail Post.... well this chest piece has 1 more ac and was free>:)~

oh and i'd like to add that Barbed ringmail after the patch is only 1 less str than this and isn't no drop, and wearable by iksar :) got mine today for 3k

Whoever said Iksar sks don't get plane armor, not to flame you but they actually do... its in plane of fear drops off of nightmares i believe. Forgot what its called but its just as good if not better than umbral.
Shadowknight armor for iksars is called Greenmist
...off of a sanguine kodiak as well. We got one last week from one. It also drops off of something else (I think a tifling of some type), but I can't remember off the top of my head.
Got mine a few nights ago, was a nice upgrade to the Crafted Breastplate I had been wearing for 20 some-odd levels. Although I really don't like the graphic on a Barbarian, the stats more than make up for it.
As an Iksar SK who is about to go to the planes, I think this armor is just perfect as an upgrade to Rygor, which i have been wearing for a few levels now. So let's not knock it unless you know. And by the way, Iksar make fine SKs despite no plate armor. Dreadscale got me through the 30s, and Rygor is keeping me alive in the 40s. and regen is nice too ;) No complaints from this Scaled SK.
Dreadscale BP owns Rygorr! same as and the sta rules!

PoG is insanely easy, it's not even funny how much just 2 groups can get done in PoG, but can't get done in hate.
Class list says WAR then CLR SHD BRD so I'm guessing that someone besides a warrior could use it and may not have better by then although it is only 1 more AC than Imbrued Plate (BRD) and doesn't come close to the stats.

Im a bard, without an Imbrued chest, so this makes a great upgrade to my Lambent. I was VERY happy to get this item.

Posted: Feb 20 2001 at 8:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this is a great BP for a high 30s to high 40s BP if only it wasn't from an alternate plane, so the chances of getting this item at a time when its uesful (considering an incolidite BP is about the same difficulty to get) are zero, because you can't go to the planes. Even though you can get it 46 your still getting a little high for this bp, while its still useful at 46 (hell I'd take it) you still have to contend with the danger of a raid on growth. This is not to say that i wou;dn't want one, just that it is very hard to get for the extra 5 ac on it compared to a TW, also, getting a raid together on growth is hard compared to the other planes.

I have just got this breastplate and I must say it is by far better than the Sentient I have had since 45. Being a Dark Elf SK, I can really appreciated the Str too.

Haradgrim, just what are you wearing now? Let's see... you can't get an Indo, you be lucky to be camping SS at lvl 42, and I KNOW you can't get in on a Trak raid... so you are either wearing crafted or saved your money for treeweave. Decent 30-40's BP my ***. Got something better to wear? Treeweave doesn't cut it. I'm wearing guardian at lvl 52 because I need the resist and it is only 3 less AC than Treeweave. Tell me something better that I should be wearing? And believe me, I'm not cheap and raid plenty, and have an AC of 927 atm. I'll take the extra 8ac from the Stonemail.

Ever tried killing kiru on Hate? I've been on dozens of Hate raids....I have 2 pieces of indicolite, boots and greaves. I have seen a breastplate drop TWICE in all my times on hate, and on the last 4 hate runs I have been on there were a total of FIVE indicolite drops (helm, bracer, gaunts, boots, legs). I have seen one incarnadine BP drop from the king in Chardok, I didnt win it. My guild dropped Queen Raltaas in Dragon Necro and 2 Queen's Carpaces dropped....2 guild clerics won them (not complaining, since the cleric aggro nerf they may actually need AC more than warriors now =P). I wont even talk about trying to kill Trak for a cobalt BP on my server....a couple guilds have that mob wrapped up on each pop.
Until last level (55) I wore a treeweave. I just won a lotto in Dragon Necropolis and got a phaze spider carpace. I'd gladly swap it for this =)

This is outstanding for an iksar warrior or shadowknight, as it's not plate, but has a great AC.

well yes and no. it is 10str and weighs 10 so yes it is 0wt. if you were a monk and could wear something like that, however, this would count against the weight limit. but for all other classes and all other considerations yes it does weigh 0. hope you are confused now :P

you have to kill for it in PoG? YES! my iksar warrior is so going there at 46th :) and im sure he will be joined by quite a few other iksars and ogres and trolls for that matter.
