Is this weapon just hasted or does it need to be clicked to create the effect, meaning that you can just click it then switch out to a different weapon?
no, this is a WORN Haste which means when you equipt this 2Hander you automatically get the effect and when you remove it the effect goes away.

i was thinking of trading my BABS for this, which goes for about 700pp on my server. I was wondering what haste meant and when does it proc. also how much can a lv20 iksar sk hit for max with this weapon???

Ok, here's the real deal on haste items i.e FRSS, FBSS, SCH etc...
1) It DOES stack with ONE other haste SONG and ONE other haste SPELL but i does NOT stack with another item(2 haste songs dont stack, 2 haste items dont stack, 2 haste spells dont stack)
2)it does NOT increase your delay, it increases the number of times you hit for example, a 20 percent haste item increases the number of times you hit the MoB by 20 percent
3)I Practically Live in Gfay and i know prices, SCH are around 5-6k (on Xev) FBSS for around 3-5k (on Xev)
4)It is NOT a proc or triggeredm it is permanint, meaning, you DO NOT right-click and you DO NOT fight to make it work, you equip the item with haste on it and the haste is automatically incorperated with your fighting (refer to number 2)
5) The Effect does NOT show up where your normal buffs show up, it just doesn't, if you are wearing it, then we asume you are smart enough to figure out that it is automatuically on (refer to number 4)
6)Becuase you are wearing it, you may not be able to tell the difference because (hopefully unless insane) you dont count strokes on which you strike your oponent but there IS a BIG difference

Ok how is it possible to affect the number of times you swing and not affect the delay. Possibly think about it this way that the Damage bonus from that weapon is calculated first then the haste. The fact that it does effect the number of times you get a chance to swing is not argued it is just that that is what your Delay is the length of time that it takes for you to be able to swing again. So in all truth it does effect your delay, jsut certain things are calculated before the delay is.

What is up with this paying 800pp? The going price on Druzil Ro is 400pp. I picked mine up for a trade of Ebon Razor (going price 100pp) and he tossed in an orc fang earing to sweeten the deal. I think I got well off on this deal

Well i got one to upgrade from a babs. I here it's a 33% haste. I recomend one if the price is below 1k. I can solo blues again. wooohoo. I havent read any of the post, but from reading about haste this is what i reckon:
Item haste does not stack. FBSS + Mithril 2h = one item that has zero haste.
Spell haste does stack with a item.

The 'accepted' haste for this item is 31%. Deemed by the masses I imagine.

I just bought mine on Torv server for 750pp its the going rate there....I beleive this is about the best weapon a 30ish Paladin can get ...at least one thats not tweaked and rich.....I was impressed with the number of attacks ( rather I should say more so with the change compared to before with a BABs...Its afforadable so that a lower 20's Paladin that works hard could aquire one as well.....Excellent Weapon and it address's the biggest issue with Paladins soloing....and that is being able to do enough damage to stay alive against blue and above kills....Unther

Wow, is it really worth that much...Bought mine two nights ago on 7th hammer for 450pp from some guy desperate for the last bit of cash he needed for an arbitor. The difference from that to my axe of ironback is unbelievable..now if only I can hit 20 and get rid of my damage cap!

So what haste will this weapon's haste stack with? A spell haste but not say a RBG?

The item haste from the girdle will not stack with the sword. You can only have one haste due to item, spell or song at a time. You could have an item haste, a spell haste and a song haste at the same time, but not two from the same category.
I won the roll on an Icereaver last night. It has the exact base delay as the mith 2 hander, 40, so I figured I could use it to calculate the M2H's haste. I targeted a guard and stepped away until I couldn't hit it. I turned off all incoming chat, and hit my attck hotkey. I counted the number of "You are too far away...." messages I got in one minute. The counting was made easier by hitting my Sense Heading hotkey every 5 messages to break up the endless block of red text. The average number of times I got the message after 5 runs with each sword are:
Icereaver: 33 attempted swings
Mithril 2 Hander: 43 attempted swings
So, 43 - 33 = 10 extra swings attempted every minute, and 10/33 = .3 or 30% haste making this weapon 21/28 and VERY good.

Uh, that's not very accurate, with a rusty - twohander thingy, I "tried" to hit him while too far away, about 8 times in a turn LoL, maybe that was just weird, but I think you should count hit/miss on actual MOBs while not too far away =)
woulda been funny if you took a look down or glanced away from your screen and the guard walked toward you =)

Unfortunately this sword DOES look like a rusty/bronze/FS two hander, still a great sword though.

It is not a proc. It is a permanent haste. a really nice mid level weapon for the price.

I bought mine at lvl 31 in EC for 500pp. With an enchanter's alacrity spell, this bad boy hits like a BLENDER. I replaced BABS with it, and sold the BABS to a friend for cheap. I highly recommend this sword for 2hs users.

this sword kicks all kind of butt its like having the dam of a 2hs with the speed of a 1hs! I am killing mobs that used to take over half my life out solo, now they only get to about 1 bubble, paid 800pp and traded a babs and i'll never look back

I think the Sword is Great! I was just standing at the Vault in North Freeport talking to a friend, and a stranger ran by and gave me the sword and dashed off. I did not realize HOW good the sword was until days later when I began to test it in battle. I am a 29th level Pally on Ayonae Ro with a strength of 118 (with items) and I hit for 60 with this weapon. I have been hunting Giants with it. I love it, what a blessing! Thanks who ever you were for being so generous!!

There is no proc. The effect of haste is permanent, like it is said in the description. You only need to equip it and the haste works. The haste increases your attack speed and the higher your level, the higher the increase.

Was just looking for a twinking weapon till I can use my Felhammer for 2hs. Had a nathsar greatsword before this one and this doesn't really seem to be any better! might be because I lost that 10 str putting me at 241 instead of 251 :(
Also if anyone can help! I don't know a whole hell of a lot about warrior's. I wen't for max STR and STA as well as AC. My STA is currently 238 I want to know if my hp will increase more and more as I get bigger or will I always get 40 HP a ding? can anyone help?

Check out the links page here an Allakhazam and go to a warrior-only site (I like the warrior's forge) and check out the HP info. Warriors get major HP boosts at certain levels. I know 20 is the first but after that I can't remember the progression...

By the way, does anyone know exactly what the damage bonus on a delay 40+ weapon is?
Damage bonus is depandent on delay and the level of the wielder, the higher you get the higer damage bonus it will show.

I just got mine thanks to my guild mates. Riped it right off the king's dead hand. It shows a Damage bonus of 4.
I know it has an extra dmg bonus with the new Chardok, but what I wanted to know is what the extra bonus is when you have 40 or higher delay. (BTW, from what it looks like, mostly the new Chardok dmg bonus is determined by how heavy the weapon is. If that is the case, I would love to see the bonus on a 2handed equivalent of a Wurmy :) 15 weight would be a huge bonus. )
