I paid 40 pp for one the other day in Kelethin.
Actualy I paid 50 pp for split paw gloves and this Deity. Maybe she was just being nice...or maybe the demand has gone down.

Small Wisdom Diety in 60pp
# Dec 02 2001 at 4:56 PM Rating: Default
I did this at LV 33:

1.) Train Pottery to 20 skill points.
2.) Make medium jars (med. jar sketch + Block of clay + flask of water) to 36, destroying unfired products.
3.) Make medium bowls (med. bowl sketch + Block of clay + flask of water) to 122
At this point, you should have spent about 20-30pp, regardless of merchant faction.
4.) Make large bowls (Large bowl sketch + Large Block of clay + flask of water + glass shard) to 135 (maxxes at 148, but you need only 135 skill for diety). This step costs 30pp.
5.) Kill an SG in SRo for "Sands of Ro" or possibly buy it (player-sold) from a merchant out there.

Where can i find all these materials like the diety and stuff
RE: HELP
# Nov 08 2001 at 11:29 AM Rating: Decent
I routinely buy Sand of Ro in the EC tunnel for 20p each. 1 Sand of Ro, 1 Large Block of Clay (Smithing merchant in North Freeport), 1 Water, 1 Pattern (merchant to right of bank) gets you unfired deity. Combine with HQ sheet (from vendor by first inn in EC) to get deity. Trivial is relatively high (135), so work up your pottery skill first. Total cost <22p.

Good money maker for me - I auction at 150 p and usually get 125-150. I can sell a couple a day with little difficulty.

you can find the materials to make this in the building right next to the bank in freeport..the only thing not there is the sands of ro gem which costs like 50p...they drop off some creatures but i found a few on vendors in Qeynos

I get between 125 and 200 for these still. I've sold/ traded about 10 of them in the last week. Talk about a nice money maker.

I'm trying to sell at 100pp now, but will probably drop lower. With the Idol's fixed people are going to want those instead of the dieties, but I tell you I will charge a fortune for those. Also, anyone who has completed the 3rd shawl quest won't want the small wis diety, or the Idols, as the 3rd shawl comes with a slightly better item: Seal of Thoridain (3 AC, wis, int, sv cold, sv magic, +30 mana all/all)

On the Drinal Server these babies use to sell for 500+pp, now every Druid from Qyenos to Kelethin has one of these! On a good day i can get about 300pp, usually 150-250pp, because everyone wanted the quick profit they offer! So, before you go in expecting the big bucks, do some PC's around a couple zones...
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 26 2001 at 2:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The day somebody figures out how to put a +6 Wisdom Earring in the RANGE SLOT, please let me know.
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 12 2001 at 6:19 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) These things were selling for 10pp on the Tunare Server. Why pay so much for only a +2 wis item? You can get +6 wisdom earing for less than the 400pp.
RE: Price Check
# May 22 2001 at 2:26 PM Rating: Decent
Like everyone else stated, this is expensive because it's a range slot item and they are hard to come by with WIS stats. I don't see how they could be selling for 10pp too often, the supplies to make this item cost more than that.
RE: Price Check
# Mar 17 2001 at 7:07 PM Rating: Default
It is only a matter of supply and demand. For many characters, this is the only WIS item that will fit in their range slot ( a slot wasted on Clerics and Shamans), at higher levels, you can get spears that raise WIS, but most folks can't afford Ebon Spears.

Me, I'm making these for the shamans in my guild. I have heard astronomical prices on some servers. I will see what the market bears on mine. I had people running to sell me the sands of ro because I was offering 20pp. It is a pity that the sands do not stack.

Before you dash off to make these, please not Shaman can NOT use them. For some reason, they can use the protection and resistance deities, but not the wisdom ones. *boggle*

this weapon is this much money purely because any other item that can be put in your ranged slot that has wis on it is really, really expensisve. for example, this medicine (sp) deity that has +5wis gos for about 6kpp......so basically 350pp is a deal. if you dont luike it save up your money for the other 1kpp's totems.

Or better yet, take an hour and 50-100pp and become a master potter yourself. Pottery is one of the easiest trade skills to master. It is also used to make Thurgadin gate potions, which should be enough to convince anyone who has the Velious expansion and isn't a 44+ druid or wizard to master pottery anyway.
With the number of people that practiced pottery specifically for Thurgadin gate potions or the fourth coldain prayer shawl, I'm surprised prices haven't dropped to 100pp or so. It used to be that a master potter was relatively hard to find since the skill was near useless, but that is not the case anymore.
If I were selling wisdom deities I'd ask about 100pp--roughly 5 times the cost. Most items made with trade skills tend to go for 1.5x to 5x the cost of a single attempt. Exceptions would be high-end tailored items (incredibly difficult) and cultural smithed items (hard to find master smiths of a particular race, and usually difficult to make the items). Wisdom deities are far easier to make than things in those two categories.

50 seems a little high for master got master with about 10, I suppose the xtra 35 needed to make this item trivial may cost another 40 not sure. <grin>

That could be, I seem to remember bowls being a bit on the expensive side compared to previous practice items.
It also depends whether you fire the items you make for practice (since unfired items won't sell back to vendors). I was lazy and just destroyed them, thus the 50pp cost. :)
RE: Price Check
# Jul 07 2001 at 7:09 PM Rating: Default
The price I listed was using small bowls from start until they were trivial, granted I have a wisdom of 186 (196 when I was doing this thanks to a nice chanter) which seems to help immensly (tho not with my spelling apparently)

Need a skill level of about 130 to be able to even try this. I know, 'cause I helped a friend get the skill level up high enough that he could make me one. I think it trivials at around 150 skill.
