#Anonymous, Posted: May 17 2001 at 12:06 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Druids one of the easiest classes to play up to 60 and can solo to 60 almost as a druid. Like a necro you just are a easy class so you dont get alot heeheh... Keep them druids balanced..
Quit complaining

All you people amaze me. On one side, we have the whiners shouting that Druids are getting screwed. In some ways I agree with you, but in many ways you are dead wrong. First, We SHOULD NOT be able to wear this. Their are two reasons for this: #1: one primary component of this armor is a Fine Steel BP...something we cannot wear. #2: Dragons are NOT creatures of nature, they are creatures of magic. Personally, as a Druid I would like to see more Druid items and even *gasp* Quest Armor. Verant's justification for putting the Quest armor in was because they removed Rubicite from the game. However, several classes that have armor quests never could wear Rubicite... I think its time to drop that old excuse and give us some good looking and slightly useful items. For those people that say Druids Suck, guess what, Its not the class that sucks, its the person behind the Charecter. If you gave me that kind of attatude, you would be the first person added to my Ignore list. Sorry to ramble on, but I had to express my opinion.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 09 2001 at 7:16 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) why r people so mean to druids? And why do druid care about not getting armor that looks high lvl. i really dont care what my armor looks like cause I'm mostly in wolf form. most other classes cant do that. so it is all even.

#Anonymous, Posted: May 07 2001 at 1:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Im sorry to all you people who think we druids complain to much but you would complain to if you had as few items to chose from for Visable Clotheing pieces as druids do. Dragon scales armor is natural armor and druids should be able to use all natural armor.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 10 2001 at 12:41 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Are you an idiot? The dragonscales have been worked as well. Yeah, druids cant wear the really really cool items, deal with it.
Well...
# Apr 30 2001 at 1:23 AM Rating: Decent
Ehh... so what if druids cant wear this? *im a druid too* i've got well over 200 wis also, with a few mana items... so ***** this tunic and just get some other armor. I have to admit... druids do still look like newbies at 50... wear some Gnome skin or something, some skimmy and a parry dagger , and ull look like a low lvl rogue :] Everquest ISN'T ALL about armor, its about meeting people and having fun. So quit ur yapping and go help someone out..

#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 9:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My Level 33 Halfling Rogue gets asked for SoW and Ports all the time, very annoying. He wears shiney plate looking armor and isnt anon... oh well.. Thanks for the SoW and buffs a couple weeks ago Chrone :)
#Anonymous, Posted: May 10 2001 at 1:40 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Welcome bro, hehe oh yeah, im a lvl 54!!! w00 h00!! LOL... ok bye bye now
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 29 2001 at 10:44 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Oh, I forgot to mention, if it's so rough being a druid, you can always make another class, that's the wonderful thing about EQ, all the choices.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 29 2001 at 10:43 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think that Evren or whatever his name is, is just a young child so take it easy on him guys, he can't be older than 13.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 26 2001 at 10:32 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) MY god droods dont get EVERY tunic. I am a necro and WIZATDS get somne stuff i want..... BUT do u see me **************** no so quite whining lol. its a tunic designed NOT for droods so why the hell must we kepp whining about an item that druids will never be able to get? it seems to me any druid that wants this is smart.. but any druid that TRIES to get this is DUMB. it is NOT a druid item so get over it
#Anonymous, Posted: May 06 2001 at 1:05 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Geez, "DOOD", learn how to SPELL.
Ok, Lets think about this..
# Apr 24 2001 at 5:31 PM Rating: Good
Well, it seems to me that most of you have overlooked an obvious fact. Well, to me it is, at least. I have noticed that fighters(classes with no spells, i.e. warriors, rogues, monks) come in a plate-wearing class(warriors), chain(rogues) and then cloth(monks). Even hybrids have this, well, they all wear chain or better, but rangers can't wear plate. I don't see many of them whining, they merely cope with this. The 'healing' classes follow this hierarchy, with the clerics wearing plate, shaman with the chain and druids with animal-hides and leather type armor.

Just my opinion though...

RE: Ok, Lets think about this..
# May 31 2001 at 12:59 PM Rating: Decent
Truly, yes, Shaman are chain classes. They CAN wear SOME plate, not ALL plate. Rangers *eventually* get the cool thorny vine (green plate-looking armour), rogues can wear mithril (as can Rangers, but not Shamans...hmmm), etc--there are some exeptions to the chain rule all around. Not meaning to be pissy, just pointing it out...

#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 29 2001 at 6:46 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Shaman wear plate too. Sure I'm leaving myself open for a "dont you just hate ppl who only want to point out the inaccuracies of others" but I couldn't let it pass. Especially since you're a shaman yourself =P
#Anonymous, Posted: May 10 2001 at 12:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Good point, but all of the classes as of now have some kind of armor that is above their type, like rangers get plate, shamans get plate as you said, druids get chain, blah blah blah, see what I mean? Druids seriously need to quite whining, I'm a ranger, I don't care that I can't wear plate unless i goto the planes or get more tolans, its no big deal.
Behind the stats

Ok, quit getting bent out of shape over the low AC or whatever. Look at the Red Dragonscale Armor. Look at this. Hmmm, quite similar eh? Seems to me they are following a pattern here. Just like the Red Dragonscale probably isn't the best choice for tanks, this isn't neccessarily the best choice for shaman/cleric. Yes, the AC kinda sucks. My EM BP beats this thing for AC and HP, hell even mana for that matter. But, this thing looks very cool =) And besides that... if nothing else, this thing is an AWESOME piece of resist gear. 20 WIS when you need it most plus 10 MR and 10 DR. I am wearing one of these full-time right now on my cleric. Honestly I could do without it, since I have 220 WIS with it on hehe. But it gets looks and it's a change from the standard purple =) Oh, and 10 cha is welcome for an ugly dwarf...
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 17 2001 at 5:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I got one for free the other day from a 56shm that was changing servers(god bless his iksar hart), anyway I LOVE IT........................................................and btw everydruid i come across ******** that they cant wear it high lvl and not nothing but a complement to me hehe
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 17 2001 at 12:26 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why the hell are people fussing about armor and not telling about the damn item?
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 16 2001 at 3:29 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why can't druids wear this ? It is a tunic ! Note : not a breastplate or any sort of plate...TUNIC ! T - U - N - I - C !!! Vermiculated TUNIC !
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 27 2001 at 1:06 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Maybe ppl are right. 90% of all complaints come from druids. 2 patchs were added for druids. druids are played by whiners in the RL worlds that cant cut it! suck it up and drive on! I've been to RL hell. I know what its like to wish wow I had something but damn it my Senior Drill Instructor would have laid my buttocks flat on the ground had I stood up and complained. Now you stop and think. Compare your RL to your Game Life.

#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 06 2001 at 4:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) what in the **** does this have to do with anything?
Druids being screwed..NOT!
# Apr 04 2001 at 10:44 PM Rating: Default
Druids have it easier than any other class...They can solo, have multipule group functions, and can travel REALLY well. So the next time I hear one whine about why they can't dance so damn well in the leather...You try doin it in plate mail as a warrior(I mean I can't solo, you can...When verant trys something, and it affects you, deal).
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 30 2001 at 10:45 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I just sold on for 45k! and i am getting another tomorrow haha...it is a shame druids can use it but oh well druids suck!!!
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 27 2001 at 4:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok all you druids talking about why cant i use this blah blah what not....well deal with it, you druids have it very good so dont start complaining about not being able to wear one stinkin item.

Just Got One

This item is an interesting one for a cleric. Lower AC than Ethereal Mist/Donals/PoG/Kael/Thurgadin armor but higher wisdom. If AC is not your concern, then it is not a bad item until one of the above comes your way. The wisdom boost allows high level clerics to focus on mana items in other slots. Given that I am a human cleric (read: wisdom poor, comparatively speaking) it is a good option. Perhaps this would be less so for dwarfs and elves. Besides, if you do not mind the hot emerald color, the graphic gets a lot of attention. And it is tradeable.

#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 15 2001 at 7:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) oh STFU, how come SK armor doesn't have as good AC as warrior quest armor, how come ithkars can't ear plate armor. note to druids
# Mar 09 2001 at 1:18 PM Rating: Default
just to let all you non role playing druids out there. Druids in any rpg cannot ware metal armor. this has been since d&d 1st edition. druids are all natural priest class so lets keep it that way okay? you didnt get "screwed" verant is only trying to keep it a roleplaying atmosphre. you chose your class knowing its limitaions so dont whine about it. the reason is: metal is man made. hide comes from the animals. that is why druids can only use leather! (druids really shouldnt be able to use metal weapons either, sept the scimitar)
RE: note to druids
# Apr 02 2001 at 9:06 AM Rating: Decent
Well, using that mentality, this armour should be well suited to the class as it's made from the scales of a living breathing creature. As for the non-metal weapons, I believe the druids have always been able to use non-edged metal weapons even in D&D. And I think for the most part the reason most Druids feel so slighted by Verant isn't necessarily the quality of the items available to them it's the quantity vs. class that may be at issue. Volume wise, Druids as a class do get shortchanged compared to almost any other class in terms of items useable by them. Do not consider this whining, for I'm quite happy with my own Druid as it is. Just trying very hard to hit that 200 cap, which I might add is one heck of a chore with a base wis of 85 8)

#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 02 2001 at 5:53 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You might as well get used to that fact that things like this are NEVER going to change!!! Regardless of how many people complain, Verant will do things their way, and no one elses. If you have a problem with the fact that druids can't wear this, then quit, or start a new character that can, like a cleric, or a Shaman. I understand your frustration, because I have a druid too, lvl 45. I'm going to start a shaman, since they have similar spells to druids and can wear most armor in the game.
