All the fading shadow weapons and armor now have a "can be used in tradeskills" tag. No idea what recipe or trivial is.

Does anyone have a PC on this? I have one, but can't find it in ANY of the forums or searches :(
Why?

Why go for this if you can get a Crystallized Shadow Claidhmore? Much better, plus magic, and has several minor stat increases. Always sell for about 70 to 100pp.
yeah those tinkering bags are great

Errrr, in my experience, the whole "Fading Shadow" line is worth a bit more than Fine Steel, that is to say 5-6 plat each. If you have enough spare weight, you can make a fairly good haul from these.

Not to mention, they have better stats than fine steel. Do you have any friends who are starting new characters? How about alternate characters of your own, but you don't really want to spend a lot of money twinking the character out? I started up a rogue, and armerd her with a Fading Shadow Rapier, full banded, and a few miscellaneous odds and ends. She was able to take on evens up to level 10 without any real difficulty, all for less than 60 plat's worth, and drops like these.

Right now (14th) she's using a walrus tooth on her primary hand, and a fading shadow longsword for her off hand. You know, I was thinking of getting her a PGT, but the stats on the Longsword are actively better, so long as you have a damage cap (like every character under 20 has) and aren't attacking magical-only critters.
If you have a weight reduction bag..

the entire "fading shadow" line of weapons is worth a pp or two more to vendors than FS.. but seems a TON heavier. *hugs tinkering bags*
