i think this effect is nice myself. but thats just me..i know these spells when i cast them have saved me cash on food and drink so i can save those coppers for spells and better eq.

I actually think the effect is nice too, the first thing I do when I log in is mem those two spells and summon up some food and drink. This way I can move them to the back of the spellbook to make room for more useful ones.

Did anyone notice that the picture include ELF, not HEF? And has anyone brought this to someone's attention? Not that I could ever use them or even attain them, I'm just an enchanter.

# Jan 26 2001 at 4:04 AM Rating: Default
poor bards, won't be able to use their proc to benefit the group!!! I mean, this very useful proc (cough, yeah right), has been taken away from bards and just thrown around as if it wasn't a good thing, and given to us to!! FOR THE BARDS SAKES GIVE US A DIFFERENT PROC... like retribution, or something...

The the effect on OUR boots should have been a STA regen. Not a freaken water spell.

Sigh

Least the AC rocks.

Question

Okay, this is important...

As a Cleric of Tunare who's best friend is a Druid of Tunare... do we really want to hunt on Tunare's front lawn?

With faction being such a huge deal in Velious, does hunting on the Plane of Growth cause bad faction with anyone?
Don't complain...

Hey look at the effect they gave us wizzies on the new class specific boots before you complain. (O'kiels radiation a lvl 4- 2 pt dmg shield) :D
No +wis??

They're cleric only boots and no wisdom bonus :(
Oh great, they think we're bards...
# Dec 20 2000 at 3:48 PM Rating: Default
Oh how nice of them to put abundant drink on these boots. What do they think we are, bards? ;-)

Forbidden, or stability?
# Dec 20 2000 at 7:38 AM Rating: Default
Are these boots of stability from PoG, or are these Boots of forbidden rights from the dwarf city? I thought that Abashi said the quested items and the drop items would be at least slightly different, and these two items are identical all the way down to the weight and the spell they cast.

The only difference bewteen quest and PoG drops that I have seen is the appearance. The quest items make clerics look like batman, and hte pog makes ya look like an american indian. Other than that they are the same.

He said that some could be slightly different.... it looks like, from the stats I've seen, most are identical. I think he meant that they won't be wildly different, and if they are different at all, it won't be by much.
