This weapon IS for a part of the rogue epic quest. In fact, I am going to try and get it and the Painbringer (also needed for rogue epic) this weekend. For more information on the quest... do a search for Ragebringer. Look through the posts. Someone who has completed the quest posted a very complete step by step strategy for completing the quest.

In truth sir assassin the blades portion of the quest CAN BE SKIPPED! The blades AND piercers portion of the Rogue epic are skipped completely by most Rogues. My rogue got his epic with very little effort. Only getting the robes was a bottle neck and the General can drop the item that CAN skip the robes part as well. So in essence every part of the turn in for the collection of the robes/blades/piercers can all be bypassed. I got this axe last night and asked my guild about it and they too said that it is for some part of the rogue epic. Boy was I happy..=)
I was curious,could u do the quest for the cazic quill,and the jagged diamond dagger quest(whatever it's called) and then kill the general and get your epic or do u need to obtain the items the other way?

If I can get a hold of this it would be nice. Been looking for something with an AoE proc and fairly decent damage. It will hopefully make it easier to keep multi pulls centred on me, and not my druid friend.

This axe procs a lot, making it better than a mith 2hander or a similar sword. Pretty good taunt weapon also

I got this thing a few days ago... was practicing 2hs... the proc is 58pt AoE, and although this axe sucks, SAVE it in your bank, as it is needed for a Rogue epic or huge quest... I duno.. but someone in my guild said to keep it because he can multi-quest something with it... paste more info if you know it.. I"m lazy to do the research =)
Actually, I've found one good time to use it: when you're without Enchanter support in a group. It almost always draws the entire mob on you, and for us Warriors, that means more of a chance for casters to snap off their spells. Me personally, I think it's worth the extra damage.
