Does anyone know what time he spawn. I cant seem to find he up every time i have checked.

I killed all the guards up to him and pulled him to the zone soloed him to 25%hp and had to zone i only had 10%hp. that was at lvl 51 pally
I was about to have a guildy, 64 pally, solo him for me... but when the puller went to pull him, she found both corpses just laying there on the ground with 1 minute left on the timer. I looted the testiment and that was that. Weirdest thing I've ever seen... this was last night on prexus... so thanks to whoever killed him. =)

Does Lucan Drop the sword everytime i jus got finished killing him and his skelly and only the testimony and a few FS swords dropped
No. Sir Lucan does not drop the sword. You have to turn in his testimony to Valeron in North FP to get the sword.

Me (52 druid at the time) and a friend (52 necro) did him together a few weeks back.
was realy easy. i pulled the guards from in front of the house. Killed them with his pet alone =p. I invised waljked to his room, agroed him. ran to pull spot ( the 2nd zone to nfp left side..by the lady that sells sewing stuff). ran to the back wall casted snare...had friend fear sent pet in doted i nuked..minute later he was dead. skely form was easy same tastics.
we made a paly VERY happy. =)

I took Lucan Dlere down on the 15th of January with a group of 4, I think it took a max of 4 minutes to take him and his skeelie with the 4 of us. Me 40th Paladin. Tuamac, Clatto, and one more.
41 pally (me), 48 monk, and a 48 cleric took him down very easy..what we did was have the monk cheaply buffed and SoW at the end. then ran into sir lucan's room and FD'ed. he put on his fungi to heal and once he got to full i opened the doors and he ran out and trained all of the guards. i then started to hail sir lucan and he stopped but everytime he saw a rat or something he ran to kill it which led him to gates...so the monk which was iksar ran to the guards to get agro and brought him to the very corner near pop book. he FD'ed again and waited for the other guards to leave while i hailed sir lucan and once the other guards left the monk started to fight. once the monk was almost dead...at around 20%, sir lucan was at 80. he FD'ed and the cleric CH'ed him cuz he didnt want a faction hit. the monk got back up and started to fight again until sir lucan started to run. once he started to run the monk told me to root him..i tried but he kept resisting. i didnt really need to root cuz it wouldent work so i got the faction hit =(. once he died the undead popped and i finally started to do some work...i had the condemnation of rodcet nife spell and with a DEX of 96 i proced 4 times =D. we killed him very easy and i got the agro at the end and lost 1 bub while the monk also lost 1 bub. after that i looted the testimony and logged. i forgot to give it to the lady person for the sword but ill do that today...BTW we killed him yesterday 12-14-02.

Took Lucan solo with my 55 Mage. Let a nooby loot the sword, he was pretty happy.

He drops a testimony, you need. The skellie version drops it.
who do i turn this into? i am not sure what to do and accidentally turned all of the items, and the testimony, instead of the sword to bro hayle......please inform me as of who to turn this into

Took out Lucan a little while ago and he couldn't have been more easy. Had a 54 monk 51 druid and 40 paladin(me). Monk pulled him and zoned. I hailed him till all the guards went back then monk zoned back in and we beat him to death. Druid had to heal the monk around 2 times. I LoH him to full life before we zoned. Monk finished off lucan then killed the undead version before we could even zone back in. Really thought he would have put up a bigger fight

Did this with me *45 pally*, 51 pally, 50 warrior, 56 shammy, 44ish druid, and 52 chanter... Shammy pulled him single and he went down easy, before he died, the shammy and warrior zoned *so no faction hit* and we killed the undead version easy without them... very easy was fun to kill that evil ex-pally :)

Killed him today it was easy with a 52 Pally, 52 Monk, and a 52 Cleric. Took both him and his skeleton out with minimal dmg to group.
He is level 48. we killed him with a 60 war, 40paladin, 51cleric, 46monk, and a 40warrior. So GL trying to kill him because he is one tough Sob. Good Luck to all those other paladins

He's not too tough.
Killed him with a 45 druid, 45 pally(me), 55 shammy, and a 56 warrior. Didnt even need to heal the warrior much at all.
Though we didnt have brother Jentry healing him so maybe thats why.

We took him out with a lvl 50 monk, lvl 48 monk, lvl 47 shaman, and lvl 48 cleric. Since we were already kos to freeport militia the really big positive faction hit with the nfp guards was great. Some lucky pally even got his item for free. :) the skelle version of him was a joke. I think the cleric only C-healed twice during the fight.

Took him out easy with a 59 paladin, 55 paladin, 45 monk and 56 ranger. He's not really that hard. We didn't even have a healer.

He was beat down decently fast. Not a single
death. Most of the party zoned before he died (as not to lose faction) The skelly was almost the
end of us as we were OOM and hurt pretty bad going into the fight (No cleric) and having zoned, our mage could not conjure a pet in time.
It was truly an excellent battle for such in important item. My only problem was explaining to ambitious < lvl 20s that they could not assist. (Do to the inherit death and aggro problems accompanying such a battle)
Sure does look cool :) I carry it when traveling and switch to good ol arby (GS) for battle.

Sounds like Lucan is either an under-con or an NPC twink! =)

I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if you get the faction hit, after you kill him, or after you kill his undead form, or both. I'm assuming after killing his live form, but just want to make sure for the sake of my fellow guild members that will be assisting me. Appreciate any info regarding this; and no I will not try to forgo the faction hit, so please no posts telling me how to avoid it.
It was just on the living form, the guards wont even assist the skelly. (Unless you happen to be the poor ******* who is now KOS for killing their leader)

Killing Sir Lucan does destroy your faction with the Freeport Militia, and the Freeport Rogues. The Freeport Militia, and Sir Lucan Dlere are corrupt and evil. This is why it is not only just and right, but the DUTY of any Paladin that can, to bring them to justice.

I assume killing Lucan destroys your faction in Freeport. Is the any way to get it back? Also how is just and right for a palladin to complete this quest??

In order to fix faction with the Freeport Militia... Go to Highhold Pass and Hunt Gnolls and Orcs. Turn Gnoll Scalps into Captain Orben. Orc scalps to the NPC near Kith Zone. This is long and annoying work b/c the scalps don't drop very often, and most people won't sell them unless you offer them some ridiculous price. It raises faction with a few of the shadier groups without damaging faction with any of the god guys.

Lucan is 48th, approx. i think his level vaies a tad. i can remember him being conned 50th and also blue to 50th on separate ocassions.

This is the reward for turning in Lucan's testimony... The last step in the Soulfire quest. It isn't part of the FA quest at all!

What are you talking about, you have to turn in the Brilliant Sword of Faith to get the Soulfire and you have to turn in the Soulfire and Ghoulbane to get the FA. Go check the FA quest on this site. :)

Not sure, he was red to a lvl 37, but he went down sweet to three groups of lvl 40+'s. Heh, I have no problem with overkill.
