I found the crusader parked right next to the evil eye prisoner room on lvl 2. The evil eye prisoner room is the room number 3 at the eqatlas site.
He dropped the ******* sword on first kill. Was easy to take down. Pulled eye and got him too, killed both with another lvl 30.
I'm sure there would be a lot more adds at a lower lvl so the ease of this might have had to due with the fact that we only had to fight things that conned lght blue or better and they are not that many on the 2nd floor who do at 30.

Deflation hit Old World items hard when bettr weapons from Kunark and Velious hit the market. This used to easily get 100pp at least, now 75pp is about the most you can get for it, and you'd be lucky to get that. Or even 50pp, now. Auctioned this for two hours in GFay (on the Sol Ro server) couldn't find anyone willing to pay mor than 38. Sure, it has a nice dmg/dly ratio, but it has no stats, and no procs. That means that usually only people below level 20 want one, and they can't afford to pay the prices this used to go for. It's a shame, this is a nice sword, but there's so many better swords out there now. Oh well, it's not hard to get, the Pickclaw Crusader that drops this now appears about once an hour on the second floor, usually near the fireplace. He's a melee only mob who cons green to me at 33.
The damage bonus on this weapon is 6, not 0.
If I had known how much these things were worth, never would have sold it to a merchant, who only gave me 5pp for it. Oh well, live and learn. Got another one off a Pickclaw Crusader on the second floor. Not near his usual spawn point, as near as I can figure. He was in front of the fireplace. Plan to auction it off in EC this time.
Nice stats on it, that's a great damge delay ratio. If I had a character who could use swords, I'd keep it myself.

I killed a crusader tonite and it did drop BIBS. So yes it does exist.

Ive spent some time in the new runnyeye and still havent seen this crusader. Figures, never saw the dazed knight, either. I already have the new babs and bal, but would like to pick up a bibs...can anyone confirm the existence of crusaders, what are their phs, where do they hang out, and do they drop the fabled bibs!!??

You dont have to kill the crusader to drop it you can kill lord picklaw he has loads of that blackened iron junk
Let me see if I can explain this without a map...
Ok, there's two ways downstairs in RE. A passage near the MT zone (kind of.. the one that leads down to the Evil Eye pool) and the passage down by the Gorge zone. If you go down the Gorge zone passage, you come go down a ramp and come to a 4-way intersection facing a door. Ignore the door and turn right instead and you'll hit a room with a stream of water, a bridge over it and, in this room sitting in an alcove, the Crusader. At least that's where I found him. Conned blue to me at lvl 27, was able to pull him up to the zone line to fight without adds without much trouble and took him down after losing three bubbles. Got the BIBS off of him and went about my merry way. If you're lower than 27, I imagine you might be able to defeat the Crusader himself, but expect plenty of adds, a lot of which will be non-XP green aggros.

GL getting that much for it I have an earthen blade with much better stats 26/50 haste I can't even sell it!

bought this sword [cheap] 50pp in Freeport. What a weapon, this is the weapon for level 20's easily double hits for 90 dam. Wish I had this before.
are sure its hits for 90 damage with a damage of 20?
I think he means 90 total for both hits. that would be about right.

This now drops off of the pickclaw crusader. Hes a fairly common spawn near where the knight used to be. Every time Ive seen him he has had it( or at least sword) in hand.

Guess what, you ARE a twink. You were just twinked by someone else, as opposed to being a self-twink. A guildmate of mine recently started a druid. I gave him a splitpaw tunic & belt, fading shadow scimitar, and several other items. Now he's been twinked (not very well, this was all hand-me-down stuff). It matters not who twinks, just that the equipment was not earned by that character, or purchased with cash earned by same.
BTW, I have nothing against twinking. All of my characters except my main are twinked to some degree, even if its just banded armor, and a non-rusty weapon.

i got mine at lvl 1 to! lol,i was a DE SK (still am) and it got me through the thickest of battles.
but at the 17 level in qeynos,i had it connected to my mouse pointer and i DL.when i signed back on,it completely disappeared.i petitioned about it but all they could do was say,"im sorry" about 10 times,but i was nice about it. so now i use a 1hs velium battle axe,it goes great with my velium shield.i got the axe for free from a fellows sympathy,and the shield for 125pp,awesomous!

it's a good weapon, but it looks like it's a one-handed weapon, and looks kinda funny when you swing it. but the power is worth the "goofy-look"

Actually I believe this is dropped by the Dazed Goblin Knight, and not by the goblin king. The Dazed Goblin Knight is on the second level of Runnyeye, where a lot of dazed goblins spawn, whereas the Goblin King is all the way at the bottom.
