I just went to try for these for TOV resist gear, went to a back cave; on the 50-60th Tizmak these dropped. Unless your MA or SA in tov resist for heat and cold are more important than AC.
I bought a pair of these on 7th Hammer server for 20pp. Very nice AC, better than Blackened Alloy, which I was wearing. Resists are quite good for everyday use or raids.

Lootted these the other night, didn't even notice that they were cured tizmak, instead of selling to vendor, gave them to my lvl 5 rogue.

I spent a couple days in GD last week killing Tizmaks. Killed a bunch of them, saw 2 Cured Tunics (both from Furious Tizzies) & got to keep one of them. Have not seen gloves yet. Gotta say, the gloves are worth more then 450 pp, at least on Rallos Zek where resistances are *vital*.
I've heard (from both the posts here and from guildmates online) that these are a very rare drop. I just hunted GD for the first time today, and was hunting Tizmaks, hoping to take down Yaka for his Mace (We did, but I lost the role). However, in the course of about two hours, two of these dropped. Our Chanter looted one, and I got the other, as no one else wanted it. I don't know if it drops at some locations more often, or if this was just a fluke. Both of these dropped at Tizmak 1, tho, if anyone is interested in seeing if they DO drop more often there

I just looted a pair like 20 min ago. Got mine off of a Champion. All pieces of Cured Tizmak come from ALL TYPES so the rumors are false. These are super rare, got em at lvl 36 andbeen camping Tizmaks since lvl 30 so they must be the rarest drop since ive seen like 6-7 cured chests.

I got a pair of these while groupin Tizmak's last week. They have got to be a very rare drop as I've killed tons of em and never seen any til then and never heard about em the whole time I've been huntin Great Divide. Awesome resist gear ! Seems random drop as well, we got off everyday tizmak warrior while clearing out first caves.

I have heard rumors that the gloves only drop from caster type Tizmaks (augur, shaman, spiritcaller), And I am interested in finding out if this matches the experience of other people. I have personally never seen these gloves drop, and I currently own three cured tunics. I can say with certainty that I have seen cured tunics (and the other armors and weapons) drop from both melee and caster Tizmaks. I would like to pick up a pair of gloves before Tizmaks stop giving experience ;)

They can drop from any Tizmak. I picked up two more pair in the last couple of days. I am still getting exp from the champions, furious, and a few others, not to mention Razorhoof of course, at level 39.
P.S. I know they are lore I keep farming them out to my other characters as soon as I get these and Razorhoofs drops.

Also, the graphics is correct. The weight is 2.0. The data base has zero weight listed which is incorrect.

I've been in the Tizmak caves for about 200 kills now. Only seen 1 pair of cured gloves (won the roll :) Cured tunics seem to drop more often.

I've killed, literally, about a thousand Tizmaks and among a slew of normal tizmak armor and several cured surcoats, I have see only ONE pair of gloves drop.

True. This is the only pair I have found. As another post mentions I found this set outside of one of the entrances. I have at least 40 of the Cured Tunics.

I have killed nearly 500 tizmaks, yet to see cured anything but tunic drop, have seen the tunic about 4-5 times

Over 600 kills here, no gloves or tunics. All I want is one pair and Ill leave.

yes, I've been hunting these tunnels now for a week, and the gloves I won in a roll, but first time i had seen the gloves, the tunic has drop at least 3 times. Thats in about 100 kills already. These tizmak are some of the easiest to hunt in the zone with a group

Where in the divide were these gloves found? in the Tizmak caves or on wanderers? Any info would be appriciated.

I picked a set up from one of the static spawns outside the Tizmak Caves (top entrance).
